Which Vitamin is best, B6 or B12?

What is the difference between vitamin B6 and B12? Which is best for lucid dreaming (I know they don’t cause lucidity, but make my dreams more vivid [therefore making it more likely for me to become lucid]) And how long before sleep do I take it, and how much? Thanks

B6. dont know why.

I don’t really know what the difference is, but I’ve always heard of people using B6 for lucid dreaming rather than B12. I think the best time to take the vitamins is an hour before sleep maybe. I never really researched supplements that much, but people definitely talk about B6 a lot.

Thanks guys  I shall go buy some B6 tomorrow, and hopefully have more vivid dreams!

The price of B6 is steep but I got 250 pills of 100Mg for less than 4 dollars at a wallgreens. but be prepared to pay 8 or 9 bucks in a worst case scenario. good luck

I believe it has something to do with B6 being broken down into serotonin, which is apparently beneficial for lucid dreaming, or some stuff like that.

You can tell I sound very confident about this.

(My first reply in the forum hehe, I’ll skip the intro)

Well, my research indicates that B6 is a necessary vitamin to convert trypophan Amino Acid into serotonin.

A few notes:

  1. Trypophan is an essential amino acid. which means you can’t produce it in your body, you have to ingest it with food.
  2. To increase effectiveness you should ingest trypophan rich foods along with your B6
  3. Why not take serotonin? Because it has to be manufactured in the brain, it won’t pass the blood brain barrier.

That’s it in a nutshell.

O

Quick word of caution: B12 will generally be processed by your body regardless of dose, but a B6 overdose has some serious consequences. Make sure you’re not overdoing it in the hopes of lucid dreaming.

In the end, B6 will help with vividness of your dreams and DR (B12 will to some extent as well). However, it is up to you to become aware. It’s a good tool, but certainly not the only thing you should be doing.

Indeed. among “others pleasures” we’re talking damage to the nerve system.
Don’t overdo B6. If you don’t know what you’re doing, don’t do it.
