I was laying in bed imagining flying when I suddenly was flying in a lucid dream but it couldnt have been WILD because it wasnt a scene it was just my imagination then suddenly i was in it
This topic was made from very many single topics by the same poster. I have where needed edited in quotes of the post that was being referred to into peoples replies. This was needed as in a single topic it was obvious what was being replied to, however it became ambiguous when they were merged since the posts are sorted by date. If you feel your post no longer says what you wanted it to, feel free to PM GreenDragon.
That very much could be a wild as you ended up in the dream world while being awake. for a wild to be a wild all you need do is stay conscious as you enter a dream. Nothing else so congrats on the LD
I don’t think that was a WILD, I really don’t believe that. But still:
You need to understand one thing about this: WILD occurs really different for some of us, while for others it’s exactly as they describe it in these WILD tutorials. For it to succeed, you don’t need to get SP nor HI’s. It can occur that instantly… but still, I doubt everything went so fast. Perhaps you don’t remember anymore.
The quickest WILD that could happen is entering SP instantly - so quick you don’t actually have time to feel it is - and then pushes you brutally in the dream world. Everything happens so quickly you don’t have time to move one finger, but still, you get something. However, for it to seem so quick you need to be in a low-conscious state. This brutal push-in-dream WILD gets you out of that low state and makes you fully conscious when you are in the dream.
There are also LD’s where you get conscious from the very beginning of the dream. Not by WILD. That happened to me too. I was laying there. I lost consciousness and then all I remember is that, in dreaming world, it was morning and I was waking up (like I do each day) fully conscious of the fact that it was a dream. → And that my friend is nothing but a 100% success rate MILD.
That’s what I think happened to you: you completely lost consciousness (even if you would deny this fact), then, once you entered the dream, you got lucid again and thought you entered the dream just like that snap.
I can’t give you a more detailed explanataion that this, and I hope everything is clear for you right now.
This is how I usually WILD too There is a certain point where i notice that i don’t “watch” the scene anymore, but am “in” it. The transition can be very smooth when we are so caught up in the HI/daydreaming that we don’t notice the actual process of falling asleep.
srry if im putting this in the wrong place but i want to know if i can sword fight in a LD (because Im a master at sword fighting havnt lost in a long time) and keep any skill I get.
well, you keep writing down your dreams every morning or every time you wake up. in a few weeks or sooner your dreams should become longer and more vivid. just pay more attention to them and your mind will realize you need them more vivid and nicer.
