I remember comming here a lot and reading up on articles and peeking around the forums last year or earlier this year. It used to have tons of members signed in or active but now theres only a couple a day? What happened?

And there aren’t that many people on the Ld4all chatroom thing anymore.
I thought it was just me and I was going crazy or something 
The most active part of the forum is the playground
and there aren’t that many users on that…
I would guess that it has something to do with the summer season in the northern hemisphere, where most of our members live. School years end, people go on vacation, and generally spend more time outdoors than in winter. The chat has suffered one or two nasty disconnects the last week, and i think not all have returned from that yet.
I have also noticed a lot of old members coming back the latest weeks, both here and on other sites and chats. That could also be explained by the season 
Oh yes. Wait three weeks and I assure you that this place will become alive again.
I wondered about that. I remember coming here as a guest and reading all sorts of new posts every day. Now that I’ve signed up, I only have 10 posts and I’m already running out of topics to post in!
It seems the same to me as it always was, but then, I missed a whole year and for all I know it could have boomed during that time.
I dunno, this place just doesn’t seem to be as exciting as it was when I first joined. But like Siiw said, think about the seasonal change! Just look at me, showing up when my school year ends.

Also to the original poster … There are more than a couple of members per day. Activity has always gone up and down during exam periods, holidays etc.
You also have to remember all the posts are quality posts.
Yes, summer break has started, and I’m usually on here to procrastinate. 
When people go on vacation they don’t always have internet access or as much access as they would at home. Plus, there’s so much to do! Summer movies, swimming, traveling, finding colleges, college applications, getting summer jobs, learning to drive, visiting colleges… where was I?
(And I play on Neopets. They have that whole cup thing going on.… Krawk Island FTW!)

I had so much to do these last few weeks of school that I didn’t really have the time to focus on stuff like lucid dreaming - Now on the other hand I’m trying to get back to it, and the community ofcourse

I think that many people mature beyond LD4all.
Using emoticons in every sentence of text and talking about shit that doesn’t exist (magic anyone?) gets very old. At least it did for me.
Personally, I like this place because it’s just a nice and friendly community, unlike some places, e.g SA.
I haven’t been visiting/posting the site very much lately. DUE to the reason that I have Driver’s Ed and I’m going to get even busier in July, and then school starts in August. But I will still have Internet time.
Well, he did have a very original dream journal that was full of action. If I recall, he was responsible for a ton of inside jokes and posted everywhere for a while before he gave up and just started posting normally.
