Wouldn’t you all just like to beable to have a method of when you continue to practice it, your ability to get lucid continues to increase, unlike some methods were progress seems to be all over the place.
While I’ve seen topics on other boards and seen this type of method before, it’s similier to this dreamviews.com/community/sho … hp?t=45387 (note how many people had success with it)
Basicly all you do is use your senses, just act like it’s a day dream, and try and feel something with your “imagenary hands” sounds childish or whatever at first, but then you get better and it actually feels like something, sometimes if you zone out to the right amount you can feel the surface really well. Don’t get upset when you can’t feel anything at first, just work through it. Oh yeah major mistake I made was trying to just feel it, you have to imagen what it would feel like, through some imagery in there well your doing that, soon you’ll beable to walk around alittle in the day dream, before you know it you’ll beable to think about your body without your mind going all the way back to it.
According to a few people I know and some of my own experience you reach a point where you don’t have to so much as will the day dream, but you can just feel it and let it be there without you puting much effort into the process.
If your not sure about it go ahead and try it for a few moments, you might be suprised or you might feel you can improve apon it.
It sort of sounds like the WBTB method combined with image streaming.
This should help with making your dreams become more vivid and give you better recall.
The link you gave talked about imagining that you’re walking around your house after you wake up during the night. I tried it last night but I keep getting distracted… Also, is there a specific name for this tec? It’s different to WILD…
It does have several names, it is sometimes called VILD (not the old vild that was created along time ago on this website, that everyone seems to have forgotten (at DV atleast) I would profer to call it DBILD (Dream Body Introduced Lucid Dream) because it’s all about stimulating the dream body. other then that it’s just refered to as tactile WILD by alot of people. Also it’s given a veriaty of names from diffrent people who discover it on their own, usualy based on the type of movement involved, such as rolling or being dragged. I’ve seen around 5 or so threads from just skimming through DV about people who have discovered it on their own to be pretty effective, that is those who seem to be lucky with falling asleep and tactile sensations.
And the actual definition of WILD is any method that you go consciously to sleep, so techniqly it is WILD, but not the traditional one.
It is very effective to use this as a DEILD like technique too.
I’m geting better, and I think I might have wilded successfully last night as I was going to sleep, it’s pretty easy now to like imagen riding a bike. So yes it does clearly improve inless it’s some kind of illusion.
I made a whole tutorial about it on my account at dv, check it out, I explained it reather poorly in this thread compared to this one: dreamviews.com/community/sho … hp?t=54392
this is a sound idea when i go to bed i usually just listen to my thoughts i should try touching the walls and touching things with imagination while seeing them as i am drifting off
