Words are deep
i read the word God
in a sentence
and i noticed all the things I thought about ,
the Simpsons, where Homer walks in the clouds with God,
and I thought about this ,
each word, each single word we have, you can just look at, really deep
and feel it, and learn about it, and see what your mind tells you
and I realized, it must get really deep, because you start to learn about what people five hundred years ago thought about the word,
and you think about how, there are other words for the same thing, but because the word is different, used different, sounds different, it has a whole new meaning,
then you have different languages,
maybe the phrase te amo
and i love you , maybe they are different,
maybe they mean something way different than we can notice at first, even though translated they mean the same
so how much is lost in translation ? i think about this place where everything is very delicate and fragile like a blanket of snow
where people have to walk
v e r y c a r e f u l l y
or they will s l i p
but they can catch themselves, and just slide a little
and i feel this deep here
its a bit like a moon but more greyish white but soothing
how many words, do we use, not knowing what we are saying ?
a phrase, quick to speak ,
easy to say
something simple and forthcoming out the mouth, might mean something completely different than what we really think
and then i can see and feel, that we can take words, and sentences, and really slow down so much, our processing, and read very very deeply , that we might begin to learn to see and speak and think in a whole new way
then Aladdin sings his song to Jasmine
and then I really wonder,
are the free associations having a conversation with themselves all the time, and is this what creates our dreams ?
you know, you read something, and hear something, and your mind has a tangent, a song lyric pops up ,
but someone else hears the same sentence, and maybe they hear a different song,
is this how dreams are made?
