Worth getting?

Would this be worth getting, or is it just a ripoff of things that I will just learn elsewhere for free? Opinions appreciated.

Lucid dreaming kit.

URL removed, please do not link to product sellers

It’s kind of a lot to read through, so here is what is included in the kit:

“Lucid Dreaming in Seven Days!”
– The only book in the world that guarantees success in under a week

Audio Stimulation CD
– The ULTIMATE lucid dreaming accessory, with binaural beats, reality prompts & more!

My Dream Log
– Exclusive dream diary software, with password-protection and special searching features

Reality Prompter
– Messenger-style software tool that provides random reality prompts throughout the day

Lucid Dreaming Screensaver
– Admire the stunning dreamscapes and uncover the hidden messages

I dunno, i wouldnt buy it. I am just so skeptic of these things…

I’m with Contage, don’t bother. There’s no panacea out there; your success depends on you alone. You can also get those things free if you want them.

Personally, I don’t think there is ever a need for a lucid dreaming kit. Achieving lucidity is something that can easily be done without it. All that you need is to be commited enough to lucid dreaming, and to also believe that you can have lucid dreams with 100% certainty. There’s no reason to ever pay money for lucid dreams, in my opinion.

I bought the kit and must say that it kept it’s promise; I had my very first highly lucid dream while following the 7-day course.

It was fun, easy and inspiring to read. So there won’t be any complaints about buying it from my part. Even if it came with software that was absolute shite, except for the reality prompter which is really good. The software diary actually erased the dreams I had previously written! Also the lucid dream induction cd is just spellbinding, I love it!! :ok:

However, this piece of book does not have much deeper information value once you’ve had that first inspirational introduction to the whole subject, and you guys prolly past that stage already.

I would say that The Ultimate Lucid Dreamer’s Manual you can get from brainwave-entrainment is awesome for all the info you need, and it’s just 10 bucks, which is just amazingly cheap.

Well, like many people said, you can get the stuff free (and legally) if you follow the right links, or even if you just look on the forum.

The info in the book can probably all be found out on this site. Plus, by learning how the book tells you, you may not find a technique that could be more effective for you. Plus, there’s even a link on this site that gives you a seven day course to LD as well (don’t remember where, but it’s under lucidity tools, I believe).

CD? Don’t need it. You can find tracks under the lucidity tools section also.

Dream log? Microsoft Works, anyone? Plus, why would you need it password protected anyway? If you really wanted it that protected, you could password protect the folder that you put the DJ in. That, or keep a notebook and hide it.

RC prompter? You should buy one from ld4all. Don’t know if it’s cheaper, but it’s supporting the site. You don’t need a RC prompter, unless you’re going to pursue RC’s as an induction technique.

The screensaver? Sounds useless. Period.

Sorry, but I think most of the information you might want is already on the site.
