Best Video Games Of All Time

QFT. When it comes to within this decade, TWEWY is definitely up there. It completely annihilated DS gaming. But, that’s in my opinion.

Res evil code veronica x
Halo CE
Zelda anything
SSB anything
pokemon anything

this list could go for days…

I would like to say that Brawl is a sweet game, although Ive not been playing it so much

The paper mario series.

Brilliant storylines, every time.

Metal gear series, Final fantasy series, Zelda series , Pokémon series …

Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask was my favorite childhood game. When I still had my N64, it was by far my favorite game to play. I played from the ages of 6-7 to 13, and still play it now when I get a chance. Such an amazing game, with such a dark story.

I loved Ocarina of Time, but I didn’t get to play it as much. They both appeal to me, but since I had Majora’s Mask for so long, the game grew on me more.

I personally think that the N64 was the greatest game system ever. It’s games beat most of today’s games without contest, and a lot of it’s games left a lot to imagination, which probably helped me today in that way.

The best game I ever played was in my opinion Braid. The puzzles are so… let’s just say you need to be an evil genius to make these. And even though while playing the game there doesn’t seem to be any storyline if you look at it later you discover that there are at least 4 different storylines going on at all times, subject to public opinion and philisophy. And the final level is just so… cunning, devious, there isn’t even a word for it’s brilliance.

At least that’s my opinion… quite a few people seem to hate it.

Final Fantasy X, IX, VI, VIII, IV, VII, V, I, XIII, XII, III, II (in that order)

This generation: Little Big Planet, Braid (nice choice, Blenderman!), Fable 2 (haven’t played 3 yet), Star Ocean 4, … Ok, no more come to mind. I don’t think this generation is very good. I just got Uncharted 2 and Heavy Rain for Christmas. Hopefully, Zelda: Skyward Sword will be good, but I’ll have to get a Wii first.

Childhood favorites: Banjo-Kazooie, Spyro, Donkey Kong Country & DK64, and Kingdom Hearts, Dynasty/Samurai Warriors, Midnight Club, the first Ghost Recon.

Unfortunately, I just played Ocarina of Time for the first time 2 years ago, so not my favorite. I love Twilight Princess, though. Majora’s Mask is on my list to play.

well most people have been putting games but im going to make it simpler and go with series mostly.

  1. assassins creed series fav in series: brotherhood
  2. fallout
  3. fable fav in series fable 1
  4. resident evil fav in series resident evil 4

and my favorite game is Oblivion Elder Scrolls 4

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver (did not finish due to scratched disc)
Super Mario World 3 (finished countless times, would gladly do it again)
Uncharted 2 (so much action…)
Little big planet (so cutely fun)
Metal Gear Solid 4 (wow… just wow… and RAY vs REX
Metal Gear Solid 3 (all that attention to details…)
Doom (gave me nightmares as a child, still scary and epic)
Prinny (hard, has penguins and has great humour, but only played 1 lvl)
patapon (the demo made me want a psp)
god of war 1 (haven’t played the other 2, but inmensely epic)
Legend of Zelda: Orcarina of time (no explanation needed)
Legend of Zelda: Majora’s mask (not done yet, but gameplay is epic)
Legend of Zelda: Oracle of seasons (far longer than what I expected)
Legend of Zelda: Twilight princess (great, but not as great as Orcarina)
Super Smash bros. 64 (endless fun)
Super Smash bros Brawl (easier and deeper gameplay, but still miss some things from 64)
Minecraft (there was a moment when I closed my eyes and saw earth CUBES)
Minesweeper (countless hours have been lost here)
Resident Evil 4 (horribly sucks if rated as a horror game, but action wise…)
Silent Hill 1 (I had dreams about this for over 2 years, back then did not even use internet so I knew nothing about lucidity)
Banjo Kazooie and Tooie (so fun and the story is great, first one was far harder)
Shawdow of the colossus (so epic, dropped my jaw constantly)
Mega Man X (graphically epic, and gameplay too)
Legend of Zelda: wind waker (fun but didn’t play the whole thing)
Super Mario 64 (it was actually fun AND challenging)
Crash bandicoot: warped
Crash bandicoot (the one with floating mask guy)
something about a chibi robot (I loved the demo, but don’t even remember what console it’s for)
altered beast (it was fun!)
Missile command (I should code it OR get an emulator of sorts)
Prince of Persia (whichever you have the sands of time in, some can suck but be great at the same time)
I might be missing some, I just said them in whichever order I recalled them, so I might list them later…

I must add a few to my list. First off, Super Mario Bros. 3. I played my brother’s version for gameboy advanced, and it was amazing. Classic storyline, but brilliantly executed.

Next, Kirby Super Star for SNES. This collection of games is prolly what made Kirby so awesome for me.

  1. Killer Instinct. I loved this game; its sleek black cartridge, interesting graphics, and fun gameplay, plus the introduction of C-C-C-COMBO BREAKER!

Finally, Mario and Luigi: Superstar Saga. This was the second greatest Mario RPG (Behind the superior Super Mario RPG). The game had humour, a great storyline, interesting gameplay mechanics, and an overall awesome look to it.

mario,zelda,monster hunter,assasins creed,kinectimals,spiderman:shattered demensions,any marvel game,classics(pacman,destroyer,dig-dug), the list goes wayyyyyyyyy on.

Mass effect 2, Mount and blade warband, Metal gear solid (1-4), Half life series.

I’m not sure if Dwarf Fortress counts, but it deserves a mention for it’s awesomeness.

Shadow of The Colossuss is another game that literally made me fall for it when I first faced these gigantic bosses  plus the music is very good too :content:

The minus though is that once the bosses are dead this game is better left unplayed for Quite a while

Hmm… I’m not today’s gamer, and not quite a retro gamer…

Regardless; Super Mario Land, only on Gameboy, a great game, with unusual but awesome music, simple goal, and a fun game, despite the dust.

Tetris. What more can I say?

Tony Hawks’ Pro Skater 2 for Nintendo 64. A surprisingly fun game, with a lot to do. Even after beating it many, many times, with multiplayer and personal challenges, I had a lot to do with the game.

Donkey Kong 64. As you may be able to see, I liked the N64. It was a fun game, with good graphics for the time, an interesting plot, fun characters, and clever puzzles and challenges. Another childhood gem.

I know there’s more, but it’s gonna have to wait for another post. Maybe.

Yeah that was a good one. I like 4 best though… better than the undergrounds.

I don’t play games anymore, but my best games of all time are.

.Diddy Kong Racing For the N64.
.Bomberman.
.Halo PC and Halo 3.

  1. Final Fantasy VI (3)
  2. Chrono Trigger
  3. Star Ocean II: The Second Story
  4. Disgaea

The Legend of Zelda turns 25 today.

In terms of gameplay:

StarCraft: BroodWar - Don’t need to say much here, there is reason why this game; and no other, still has a professional scene with top players getting paid over a million a year and attendance at major finals in excess of 100k.

In terms of being a great game/story/etc:

Final Fantasy 7
The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time

While i haven’t played tons of games these two are massive standouts to me, by far the two best I have played.
