So, recently I had a dream (slightly lucid, but not really) in which I was a dragon (yes). Ever since then, I keep thinking about dragon-related things. I know that a subject in RL can make you have a dream about it. Does it work the other way around, and better?
Also, about the dragon thing, do you think maybe everyone has an animal/creature that is theirs? That’s the only thing I can think of, because I don’t do anything dragon-related at all in RL (no shows, no books, no pics, and no movies is what I mean, not breathe fire or have a tail)
I agree with krakatoa and MelissaDreamer. You were probably fascinated by the fact that you were a dragon in your dream that you think about it more in waking life. Maybe you already find the subject interesting, but because of the dream you think more consiously of it.
I don’t know if everyone has an animal/creature that is theirs. There are for example therians and they are deffinetly connected to animals. Therianthropy is a generic term for any transformation of a human into another animal form, or for a being which displays both human and animal characteristics, either as a part of mythology or as a spiritual concept. You can find a tread about it here.
There are people who believe in animal totems, in that case everyone has one. I don’t know that much about this.
Also you have people from who you just really see as an animal, if you know what I mean. Several times I refered to people as animals with a friend of mine. Sometimes it is hard to relate someone to an animal, and sometimes it is really obvious. So certain persons have an animal/creature that is theirs, but I’m not sure if everyone has it.
