Free Lucid Induction CD Download, part II

I downloaded it and listened to it while sleeping. The thing is, it totally messed up my DR, I couldn’t remember a thing! Now last night I decided to try without it, and had the most vivid LD I’ve had this far.

Well I tried this yesterday and left the soundfile on all night (took a while to fall asleep while listening to it). About 1-2 hours after I had fallen asleep, I woke up and I found myself being totally soaked in sweat! It was like I had dreamt the worst nightmare ever, but couldn’t remember it, only that my whole body was really, really sweaty (maybe a FA? Was really wierd how sweaty I was  ). So I fell asleep again and during the whole night I didn’t sleep very well at all. Then I woke up at 5 AM for WBTB, still with the soundfile still playing. I fell asleep again pretty fast, but didn’t remember a single dream when I woke up again at 7 AM, and then it felt like I hadn’t been sleeping at all from 5 AM to 7 AM even though I had.

Quite strange if I should say so myself. Maybe the sound disturbed me too much during my sleep, not too sure actually.

I’ll try again tonight.

I’ll try it as soon as I get my computer in my bedroom. By the way, does this file speficically requires the use of headphones, or can I just play it on my computer through the speakers?

I started listening to this and it scares the hell out of me. Mainly because there are those periods of silence when I don’t know when he’ll say “You’re dreaming!” This will probably keep me up for a while.

I’m going to try listening to it sometime soon, but will the fact that it’s in english and I’m Swedish affect the effect of it? (Affect, effect… Never thought I’d have those two in the same sentence… Ever)

I mean, my english is close to perfect (For a guy at my age) and it happens pretty often that I THINK in english. But still, will my SC be able to understand english?

(Doh, I hope posting in a month old topic is okay - Personally I think the line goes at two.)

Would sombeody please post a new link to it?

Thanks

Yes it could have an effect. It depends on how good your english is, and if there are any words on the CD that you don’t understand enough to get the full meaning. That you read this forum will help a lot.
It also depends on a lot of other things wither or not the CD will help you. The sound of the voice on the CD, does it help you relax, or does it remind you of the voice of someone who you don’t like, or have problems with. Is the rhythm of the voice soothing, or does it keep jarring you out of your relaxation.
There are lots of things like that which can make a CD very effective for one person and bad for another.
For some people it can help a lot if they redo the CD with their own voice. That can help because who do you trust more then yourself.
don

Well I hate my own voice (Haven’t listened to it for 4 years and I’m not planning to do it anytime soon) so redoing the cd is not an option  Btw, I do find the voice to be relaxing and the background noise as well. Oh, and I understand every single word…

I tried this last night and it screwed up my recall.

I did feel very funny as i was falling asleep though.

Yeah, I listened to it and in the morning I felt as if I had lost my DR totaly. I didn’t even have that “Feeling” that’d had a dream at all.
Yesterday I tried it again and could recall my dream a bit, I guess you just need to get used to it.

It’s a nice CD, but I don’t like the voice. ‘You will remember to check your reality blabla’. But that’s the most important thing.

These type of CDs never work for me… I try shamanic music and brain-wave presets together to relax, and even then they don’t work like everyone hypes them up to.

This link does not work for me…

My mp3 player has an alarm setting that makes it come on at a set time so I have it set to come on at 1 am (3 hrs after i go to sleep) and I was wondering if I should set music to wake me up then go back to sleep listening to this or if I could just have it start playing directly into my dream. Also I wanna use the sleep mode setting so If I were to do that how long would I want the sleep timer set for?

I can’t seem to get it to download.

Does anyone know if we should do this right when we get into bed the first time or during WBTB?

It cuts off downloading at ~10% every time.

It sounds a little creepy, but I’ll try it next time I have a chance to sleep in.

and it does cut off when I am listening to it.
