Found out about lucid dreams on a saturday night, had the most intense LD on wednesday following week. [7 month gap of nothing] followed by avg. 4 LDs a night for a week, now im back in the waiting period. 
My first induced LD was just two days after I became interested in the topic! :o I didn’t have much control, though, and it ended quickly. But two days later, I had another LD. It was much longer, more vivid, and more controlled. That was last night. I consider myself incredibly fortunate to have had no less than two LDs in my first week. I intend to continue in that good fortune!
2.5 months after I became interested.
Yet to have one, although I have been trying for 2 days. I’m hopefull for tonight though!
Well, if you count the first time I heard of LDing (and ignored it), that would make it months and months.
If you count from the first time I got interested and started reading about it, that would make it the same night. I started reading in the evening and pretty much didn’t stop for a few hours, so by the time I went to bed I was obsessed and couldn’t stop thinking about it. But then that LD only lasted for a second, literally. I only had enough time to realize that I was dreaming, then I got too excited about it and instantly woke up.

Woooah yeh! My first LD after 5 days, I’m so chuffed with myself!
It took me one month for my first, then two weeks after that for my second.
The first LD I have ever had was probably when I was about seven, before I even knew about lucid dreaming. Since I didn’t know about it, I decided to wake myself up because I wanted to get out of a strange house I was trapped in.
Fast forward a few years, and now we’re at the point around two months ago when I discovered lucid dreams. After starting my dream journal, it took me about three weeks or so to get my first LD.
I had them at a very young age. 6 or 7 I think. I loved those dreams because I could control everything. Last month I found this site through wikipedia and was shocked and excited to know I could induce them! I got one that night using WILD.
I’m still getting better at it.
