Non-lucid dream in which I meet the “space jockey” from the sci-fi horror movie Alien.
I claim the points for:
See a giant
See someone who is more than a hundred years old. (The plot of Prometheus implies that he is at least that old, I think).
(I’m not sure if this site would consider it acceptable to link to H. R. Giger’s concept painting for the space jockey … but I know many of you have seen Alien anyway).
Mid-length WILD this morning LINK TO DJ
I am on a stealth / infiltration mission in the jungle
Close to the end, I shrink myself to ant-size, so two people were looking to me as gigantic
I am not sure this counts for “See a giant” / “I am smaller than his hand”
Im not having any luck with this thing, lol~😂 I’ve had many dreams this week (even lots of lucid ones!) but I can’t seem to remember about the challenge-tasks for the life of me & I keep doing other things while dreaming!
I don’t know if im going to keep playing, but I’ll still be watching y’all!
I haven’t been very diligent with my DJ lately, and my circadian rhythm feels like it was thrown out the window of a speeding car and collided with a large gumtree. There has been major bushfires in my area lately, and Iv’e been all over the joint running command centers and coordinating our firefighters. The latest fire was only 10km away from my house, but we have almost got it out, and i’ve been given leave, so I can finally log some tasks!
(I doubt Ill get around to finishing the DJ logs for thease tasks, but i’ll do what I can)
all non-lucid tasks
See a horse. ( two horses with incompetent riders )
Be in the dark
See a rabbit ( we were out hunting, but I didn’t kill it)
Fall down
I had a couple short LDs, but im not counting them.
Brief update from my side: loads of WILDs these days, but I am focusing on other lucid challenges’ tasks. Few DILDs after WILDs, too
As far as I can tell, I haven’t completed any new tasks
Do you mean you don’t want to keep score of them, or you just don’t remember how many there were? If you can make an honest and cautious guess I’d be happy to reward you at least some points for them.
And good luck with everything that’s going on!
And wow, a first sign of the Muse! Congratulations on completing two of the challenge tasks Obfusc8
And dreamers, keep going there’s two more weeks to score points! A lot of you are around the 50 points which means the game is quite interesting there
[i]The Council of Dreams has notified you that the search of you and your fellow Dream Heroes has for the first time seen some progress: there have been signs of the Muse.
‘But how do I know which direction will bring me closer to where the Muse has been seen?’ you ask yourself out loud.
‘I know just the thing for that…’ someone behind you says.
You turn back and see an man with a stick and a hat, who looks a bit crazy and is surrounded by little orange men. ‘Follow me,’ he says with a grin on his face.
He leads you to an elevator with a lot of weird-looking buttons. ‘Where is this one for?’ you ask.
‘Let’s try!’ Willie Wonka says, and pushes the button.
The elevator starts to gain speed, you see the floornumbers rising and ristng, faster and faster. And then… you break trough the ceiling.
The elevator flies so high that you can see the whole of England, Europe even. Then it slowly starts to fall down again.
‘Oops, I forgot we have no brakes!’ Wonka shouts joyfully.
You find yourself approaching the surface of the earth with tremendous speed. Seems you are going to crash right into Italy…

Challenge tasks
Your most important task during this challenge is to find the Muse. The Muse comes in many shapes, and your Muse will look differently from the Muses of the other participants. So please leave us a description when you find yours, it will be interesting to see what each Muse looks like!
You can complete these tasks during the entire challenge, and there is no early or combo bonus for them.
Find the Muse +50pts (it’s enough if it appears in your dream, even as a creature somewhere in the distance)
Have a conversation with the Muse +50pts
Bring the Muse back home safely +50pts
Week 4 tasks

Scenery inspired tasks
Be in Italy +20 pts
Hear someone speak Italian +10 pts
Be in a classroom +10 pts
Character inspired tasks
See a doll +10 pts
See a puppit master +20 pts
Touch/feel something that’s made out of wood +20 pts
Oh and please let me know before the Grand Finale of next week… who your favourite Winnie the Pooh character is out of Pooh, Piglet, Eeyore, Rabbit, Tigger and Owl.
Claim points for a long LD last night. No task achieved as I did not go on LD4all in the last 2 weeks
I wish I had more LD power at the moment because the tasks really look fun!
Earlier in the week I had a brain failure and tried to find an elephant. I was sure there was a task about seeing elephants… must have been confusing Pinocchio with Dumbo!.
I’ve been trying to keep up to date with my DJ, but multiple bushfires, lost people, and being away from computers for some time has made it difficult.
Anyway, i’ll claim the following points please. ( As usual, being away from home and isolated from technology increased my lucid rate to 1-2 a night)
2 Long LDs
1 short LD
Recognized I was dreaming (without becoming lucid) Twice.
Lucid Tasks: ( I’ll definitely be logging the LD where I completed thease, it was one of the funnest fights i’ve ever had, my opponent actually had “lucid abilities” he could morph the dreamscape, and copy my attacks. I probebly only won by making my attacks invisible, and he never flew. )
Be in the dark
Make something invisible
Fall down
Be in the sky
See a magician ( A fight to the death counts as “see” right? )
Would recognising an australian landmark count as being on an island? ( We are Technically an island…)
Non-lucid tasks: Tell a Lie Take part in a trial — These 3 probebly had something to do with me breaking into, and then out of, a prison. Get tied up /
