Fun fact of the day: Actually when a limb falls asleep it’s most likely that you are pressing on nerves. Even though I’m sure decreasing the bloodsupply to the limb can have a similar effect. However, in my logic, cutting off the blood is more dangerous. If you cut of bloodsupply you cut of oxygen. wich is likely to damage the cells. That’s why you should not tie a rope around a wounded limb unless you hav edecided to amputate it, because it will die.
Hence why I said earlier I don’t want it to happen again… because I don’t know if I had indeed cut off the blood flow which could damage my arm. I like having two arms :’(
I don’t think it’s actually possible to cut off the bloodsupply that much just by laying on your arm. Unless you’re really heavy that is. I’ve just never heard of it. I guess you can find out though if it’s the case. If you cut of the blood, your arm will become cold. And one time I tied a string around my finger and it turned yellow like a corpse.

I agree that it seems impossible to cut off the blood flow to the arm, which is why I never really agreed with that assumption. Most likely it was partial sleep paralysis.

Yeah well, as I mentioned, it could be the pressing on the nerves wich is way more common anyway. It’s happened to me. The arm is totally limp. and I can only wich great effort lift it up. Only the most basic movement, but the control comes back slowly, within a minute or two, and it tingles and such. But I’ve never had it happen more than once in a night.
Yea haha… maybe it was dead for the whole night long instead of just dying each time like I thought.

I never experienced a SP… 
i think i might have had SP once… i woke up because i had 2 go to the bathroom and i used like my back to turn around and i put my feet on the floor and used my arm to lift myself and then i just fell over because i had no feeling in my legs, so there i kinda was lying on the floor freezing 
its possible that it might have been a dream when i think of it thou cause i wouldn’t normally just lie on the floor freezing
Lol, you could have been sleeping on your right arm whole night without knowing and when you woke up there was no blood in the arm left so you couldnt move it 
I did the same to my right hand, I couldn’t do anything with it for a while.
