if you enjoy practicing meditation or find it somehow fulfilling, it will take those two words: patience and perseverance
if not, oh well
I don’t think it’s a great idea. You’ll just observe modified thoughts through a modified state of consciousness and it will be of no help when you’ll be in a normal state. You should learn relaxation methods, it’s rather easy.
if the objective of meditation is emptying the mind then you are still dependent on it.
As it should be, since without mind you’re either maximum braindamaged or enlightened …
Ummmm, I thought silent mind meant that you let go of all the outside concerns and began to hear the inside…so to speak…
They say to be enlightned is to transcend it, but its still there in a ‘restraint’ form.
Yeah, I should have written “without dependence on the mind”…
