Synesthesia

When I was a kid I used to associate colors with words in my mind all the time, and sometime not related to the word, like wednesday = red… but these weren’t stable colors and in time the colors kept on changing(this is probably not synesthesia). But some synesthtics “really see” the colors, as I said about how synesthesia was proven scientifically.

One case i read about was about a man who saw pink dots every where everytime he hears his alarm clock ringing… even if his eyes are closed. Which causes him to wake up. One theory suggests that the cause is physical and not psychological, stating that some neural connections that exist at a young age should disappear later, but in the case of synesthetics, they stay with the person all his life.

Also they say synesthetic can see like days/numbers infront of them.
For example i see 1-10 going diagonal from the bottum left handside upto the top right handside and i see it as multi coloured.

Then i see 11-19 following on from 1-10 but pushing it slightly out of view and these are coloured white.

Then 20-29 is coloured goldy then pushing 1-10 futher out of view and pushing 11-19 where 1-10 used to be and so on.

With days its exactly the same yet if i think about last week it goes in the opposite diagonal.

I hope you can understand that.

“I hope you can understand that.”

not really…

this reminded me of a really weird memory and i don’t know if it happened, but i remembered the move a beautiful mind, and how when he would look at things, the patterns would come to him like from his unconscious mind, and i was looking at something and i know it made sense but i wasn’t sure how, and i was trying to focus in on those connections.

it may have happened in a “trance” state in a recent “meditaitonal” session.
