similar to my top 5, except in a different order

I just took the Path to Peace test again. Last time i got 20.

You scored 25, on a scale of 10 to 40. Here’s how to interpret your score:
10 - 17
You take the absolute pacifist path. You believe in the goodness of all people and want to make the world a better place for them. You admire other faithful peace makers, and strongly follow in the footsteps of Catholic peace worker Dorothy Day, who believed in pacifism without exception. You work to achieve peace by restoring the best in humanity. You chart a path to peace by giving back and hoping for the best in all people. Get inspired with this Peace Meditation.
18 - 27
You take the non-violent path. Like famed Indian pacifist, Mahatma Gandhi, you believe that peaceful civil disobedience is the best route to social change. There are rare moments when violent resistance may be considered as a better option. Nonviolence, you emphatically believe, is not to be confused with cowardice, but rather the highest expression of bravery. Find prayers for peace here.

28 - 36
You take the activist path. Like former South African president Nelson Mandela, you’re willing to allow for violent resistance in cases where oppressed people have no other options to attain equality or freedom. However, with the tables turned, you prefer more peaceful methods of conflict resolution, such as South Africa’s Truth and Reconciliation Commission, which helped the country overcome some of the rancor of apartheid and move on to a more peaceful future. You consider poverty and social equality as key components of peace, and strive to take the long view of history. Try these Seven Practices for Peace.
37 - 40
You take the fighting path. You understand peace as coming with a price. Peace is possible in our time, but only if we work hard to achieve it–and that sometimes means fighting for it using violent methods. You follow the model of President George W. Bush and tend to see non-violence as a nice, but impractical, ideal that countries can’t afford in times of war or danger.

YAY! I’m not a Jehovah’s Witness!

i ended up taking a different quiz altogether, guess i can’t handle the numbers?

i am a…

Questioning Believer. You have doubts about the particulars but not the Big Stuff

how’s that for what the H! well, let’s see, particulars would be a moral code of ethics because it gives me a headache just thinking about following rules. the BIG Stuff is the fun stuff, like this is a totally supernatural universe with a supreme being everywhere constantly, patiently saying hello, and who will make itself more present and helpful when we humans say hello back to it.

i question the man, but i feel the spirit!

Except Buddhism was a bit higher last time, I think. I think I messed around with the “high, medium, low” scale on the questions this time. Before I just left everything as default medium.

Hmm… and Roman Catholic was my last the previous time and now it’s Jehovah’s Witness. I’m not sure why that would happen.

…I’m actually born and raised Roman Catholic… but after looking up Mainline to Liberal Christian Protestants I agree with these results. And Unitarian Universalism, hahaha, that explains things. I believe in random aspects of many different religions, as well as a scientific origin of life (that may or may not be controlled/guided by a God.)

Yeah I got the same top 3 as you hunaynay and I was also raised as a catholic. I relate to what you say about believing in different things that could fit into different religions.

Well, here are the results of a survey I did 3 days ago and according to this survey I my beliefs, values, etc most closely resemble Neo-Pagan. Not gonna disagree because my top 2 matches DO fit the 2 faiths I feel closest to, but I’m not sure about its authenticity:

I’ll always believe in some sort of higher power(s) and an afterlife. I also don’t think science necessarily contradicts spirituality. Also, read my signature if you haven’t noticed it already.

 NewReality, ooo you found the beliefnet quiz on your own
I moved your quiz results from the personal spiritual beliefs topic to the religion quiz topic
feel free to post any other of the spiritual quiz results in this topic and if you wish to expand on your beliefs and how they were formed etc the other topic in gathering would be ideal for it :content:
