The Big Riddle Topic (Beware of Brain Damage) - Part 6

Where can you find roads without cars, forests without trees, and cities without houses?

in an LD

Good guess, but no. Its not that hard if you think about it.

Nowhere?

No.

Answer to my riddle: Yes, I am an 8.

Wizard: A map?

Yes, Archrin, the answer is a map.

I know i’m just being a nitpicker here, but there are houses on maps, at least in the Melways everone uses in Melbourne. And whose to say that blobs of green ink are forests.

Good work on keeping this topic alive though.

I’ve now got a riddle.
It was a hot summers day with the sun directly overhead, and an eagle flies by (not up or down). You look down at the shadow and are surprised to see that it is a round circle moving across the ground (note: this is the shadow, not some grey creature).
The question is why is the shadow round? And i must tell you that the answer is silly or no one will get it.

Is it your own shadow, or is the bird carrying and unbrella?

Silly eh? The eagle was really a sphere! The only thing i can think of is that its not the eagles shadow but is really like a baseball… or maybe eagle is australian slang for ball…

oops i forgot to check this topic. †Archrin† is right it is an umbrella that the eagle is holding! Did you already know this?

hehe, but good try.

does anyone else have any more riddles?

No, I didn’t already know it, but for some reason it popped into my head.

Riddle:

Light as a feather, there is nothing in it;
the strongest man can’t hold it
for much more than a minute.

What is it?

is it air, and he can’t hold his breath for a minute

i put my guess small so other people can also guess.

Alex: Good job
