Yeah, it is a new technique. A new approach to it.
MILD is a too generalised word so it sounds silly to me, those guys saying “That’s just MILD”. That’s like if I thought of the word word “invention” and when someone invents something, no matter how cool/great/whatever it is, I’d just say “Lol, that’s nothing new, that’s just invention”.
Something like that.
As for this technique, I’m too lazy to be trying something like that. Well, cutting the number to 10, maybe, though.
It’s not exactly mild. It doesn’t follow the formal model for it as described in EWLD. It’s supposed to be A lucid dream induced by the MNEMONIC of visualisation. Wich this technique does not include. It is a form of autosuggestion though. I don’t know if anyone called this a technique on it’s own before, but it’s not unheard of.
There was a thread for a while (perhaps still is) in one of the topics on this forum, where people wrote that they were going to have an LD that night. So very similar technique. I believe it could work, but…
Now, forgive me if I’m being over suspicious, it’s just that I’ve seen other posts on this forum where people have said they’ve created a new technique that gives them LD’s every night, and it’s turned out they were making it up. I remember one person who said (I think it was meant as a joke) that you just had to wrap foil round your leg every night for guaranteed LD’s.
I’ve heard of natural LDers who have LD’s most nights or sometimes every night, so that is certainly possible. But they also had lots of ND’s. From you saying that you wanted to have some ND’s, it gives me the impression that you’re saying you’re lucid for every dream. I’ve never heard of this before, and it does seem a bit unlikely, from all the theories I’ve heard about dreams I’ve always got the impression that you’re brain needs to have some ND’s to process information.
Also, I can’t imagine getting bored of LDing, not unless you’re bored of life.
But I may be wrong, and I apologise if I am.

Actually, I attempted this technique for a couple of nights, then I stoped for the next two nights. Last night (I believe the third night after I stopped) I had a very nice LD. All throughout it I was trying to become Lucid Again.
I don’t know if it is this technique or not that gave me this result… but i’m starting to think The 1st of each month is my lucky day lol.
I’ve been trying this technique for a few days. I’ve never had a lucid dream before so it may take a while. I write it about 30 - 40 times before going to sleep. It seems to be working pretty well. Last night I had a dream about lucid dreaming which I haven’t had for a long time. I’ll tell you if it works.
I tend to have trouble focusing my mind when I lay down for sleep, so I’ll give this a try. I’d think that the repetition will make it stand out more clearly in your mind, especially to your subconscious. Sounds like something right up my alley. I’ll be sure to post my results.
Yes, I’ve heard of this technique before, only without writing it so many times. I think that is the part that works very well though, 50 times will really get it to sink in.
You may want to try it for three days in a row. I have personally found that for some reason it can take 3 days before my subconscious absorbs a message. Also, I read something along similar lines in a recent lucid dreaming article I read. Perhaps the subconscious reaches some sort of saturation point and finally relents - either way, I’d try for at least thee days before throwing in the towel.
things like this usually don’t work with me. But I’ve decided to try it out anyway since it seems to be very simple and doesn’t require me to wake up in the middle of the night. But just to be sure this actually goes into my head I’m going to write closer to 150 lines a day
50 lines on the computer during the day.
50 lines on the computer 30 minutes before sleep.
50 lines by hand 10 minutes before sleep.
And then repeating it in my head as I fall into sleep.
That should keep it from falling out. I’ll try it for about a week or so.
