About a month ago I had a random DILD, and I saw my father who passed away over 10 years ago. I was on my computer and became lucid when I noticed the clock wasn’t working. I turned around to examine the rest of the room, and he randomly walked in. I was sort of shocked and started to get a little emotional since I never had a chance to say bye, but he told me not to worry and that we should spend our time wisely together. For some reason the room turned into a tennis court and we played tennis together. I don’t remember exactly, but I think he won since the dream was pretty unstable and I had a hard time focusing my eyes on the ball.
I would like to explore this a little more, but there are still some things I am planning to do before trying this conciously.
i dont believe its safe to contact the dead during state of lucidity,in a sense just doing it out of some random -curiousity,not to contact a loved one or lost friend out of desperation,i sincerely think the same repurcussions exist as a ouija board, you open a door and have’'nt the slightest idea what the fcks comming out of it, and you may find closing it and alot more challenging
I think that it’s okay if they come and visit you.
But if you want to visit them,then make sure you bring a spirit guide along with you (and make sure that they ARE your REAL spirit guides,you might want to ask them a question that only you and it know the answer to,if you guys know each other that well,but if not just ask it it’s name)
When your around you spirit guide you feel love,joy,ect… (good feelings) and see light around them (could be colorful light.
I have a situation similar to Zarets. My ex boyfriend died a couple of years ago and i hadn’t seen him for years before he died, although he did get in touch with me to tell me his was ill before he passed over. Since he died i have seen him many times in dreams… its what got me interested in lucid dreaming. He would always know he was dead and i knew… but at that time i never went click I’m dreaming! lol
Anyway, since then i have been lucid and able to call him up a couple of times… although i’m not always successful. It’s when he spoke to me i was certain it was him, and he hugged me as well, in such a realistic way… i wouldn’t be able to recreate it with my imagination if i tried. I also don’t seem to be able to control when he appears - in regular dreams or LDs so that suggests to me that i am dealing with a being separate from myself.
Anyway, my next step is to try and get some ‘real life’ information from him that i can verify. But i also get the sense that its not ok to call him up everytime i become lucid… he has stuff to do too
I contacted my fiancé who passed away 10 years ago in a LD. It was an amazing experience. I had some DC take me to him. It was my most memorable LD. If you want to read about it it’s in my DJ, page 2 title: open your eyes, see with you heart

Thank you for reading. Before I started LDing I would have him in my Dreams all the time. Most of the time he didn’t understand why people thought he was dead. Another scenario was that we were arguing and I couldn’t figure out why it had been so long since we talked. Many times I would wake up and reach for the phone just to remember that he was really gone. Now I am at a place that I can see the whole experience as a blessing. I have evolved in who I am and how I see the world what is infront of me and what is just beyond what our eyes can see. I feel him around me all the time now and I thank him for being the wonderful spirit that he was in life and is in “death”. Through him I have come to realize nothing truly dies.
Sorry to keep going on about this but It really does feel wonderful to express to others how the experience effected me. Again thank you for reading.
I would probably visit my Grandfather, my lost Sister, ( she was supposed to be, but before I moved to my enew dad she died from Cancer… ) Anyway, it would be great…
To see your Lost Relatives again, but then… How do you know it’s some Dream Personage or really dead people?
Hey long time I haven’t been around but last night I was in a nightmare when I became Lucid so I just took off flying and from the sky I saw this beautiful place with lots of lights and fountains. I went straight there and there was a huge party in the ballroom.
There standing was my ex, and when I touched him, he saw me and got a small fright like in shock that I was there and then gave me a warm smile. We spent a lot of time talking and dance he told me he have visited his mother and such. And also mentioned something about my current pregnancy, I’m still 6 weeks so not sure what sex my baby will be but he said it’s a girl… I guess I’ll need to wait and see. He walked towards the garden as as soon as we walked outside I started waking up, I tried to stay lucid but it was obvious he walked me to the exit. The whole time I was pretty sure we were making contact in the after life and everything there was beautiful.
It was one of the clearest LD I have ever had and it lasted a while even when I was sleeping during the morning while my kids were watching TV next to me.
There’s no way of really telling if it’s just a dream or not, but either way it’s a wonderful experience and everyone needing to see a lost one should try it.
I’m not sure… I don’t even remember telling him I was expecting. If it was a dream maybe it was all in my head. Either way we’ll gonna have to wait like 3 more months to find out.
He laughed about it and said something like “your son told you he wanted a brother but there’s a baby girl in there”
If it’s a boy then I would be convince it was all a dream. Next time I better remember to ask about his son as I always forget to ask his name…
I posted here before… And changed my mind now. I believe in this… Because some spooky stuff happened before by my mom.
She once told me, she had a dream. And in it she meeted my dad’s mother.
Who told her how happy she was that my mom was married with my dad. My mom never saw her. Neither I, but when he showed us the pictures it was the same look, same dress and same face. Very scary, but I guess it works.
When I started LD I just dreamed with my grandmother and I just got really scared when I saw her, imediately I got LD “How? shes dead!” Just started looking at her, same face, everything. It was a really nice meeting. I really would like to do more, it’s a such good feeling.
By the way, she said to me in this dream: “you’ll break your arm”.
Actually I didn’t, maybe because of her advice
My girlfriend just passed less than 3 weeks ago.
I’ve only partly remembered 2 dreams with her in it.
It’s making me upset. I really want to see and talk
to her. I’m NOT going to give up.
I intend I will be lucid and see and talk with my girlfriend.
