all money = all money
while we push around imaginary numbers and balance deficits this way and that, its still monopoly money because the real money has not existed since we left a physical standard.

Hey man, i’m with you there but we have to deal with it, unfortunately.
Real life sucks, doesn’t it? haha.
I wish everyone had the guts to just say, no more!
a worldwide rebellion would be nice.
Thats going to happen very soon I predict, perhaps in our life time.
I certainly hope so. But what would become of the people who would essentially have to disapear?
IE corrupt politicians, buisiness owners, the antichrist, etc
no rebellions are counter-productive
free yourself from the matrix and you are free from the matrix, what does it matter what everyone else does?
Cause you could screw yourself over if you drop out of society.
I disagree with that statement in so many ways Eyelids. Simply put, as history has shown, the only productive method of changing things for the better is by rebellion.
perhaps the American Revolution for starters? The rebellion of Christians from the Roman church to form all of the modern Christian religions that help inspire peace? All peace is created by war, because without war there cannot be peace. Everything has an opposite that is in constant effect with it.
Tyrael, you should try stepping over to the “is war necessary?” topic (I’m too lazy to fetch the link right now) and present that argument to Damien. I guarantee that you’ll have loads of fun on that one .
That said, I think that the Christian rebellion from the Roman Catholic Church was not the greatest example of revolt leading to peace. The Catholic Church eventually made reforms (peaceful reforms, mind you) to correct the errors of its ways, and is still around today, inspiring hope, peace, and love in its members. Now that statement makes Catholicism seem all bright and holy and pure, and I’ll grant you that it’s not (it’s run by humans ). But if you look at the development of some of the Protestant religions (particularly Puritanism and anything having to do with double predestination), you can see how the desire to rebel against the Church hardly produced religions that inspired peace and hope.
I would argue that rebellion is, at times, the only way in which mankind can effect a real change in government/society. At the same time, though (as Thomas Jefferson suggested in the Declaration of Independence), revolt should be reserved for serious matters in which every other means of settling peacefully have been exhausted.
…ok, that was quite the departure from the topic at hand. I’m not particularly excited about the elections; I have a feeling that the American public will be dissatisfied and will struggle greatly for the next four years, regardless of which candidate is elected. On that, though, I am hopeful that Obama won’t win. I find his stance on abortion and his slight lack in consistency to be worrisome.
seriously… make some popcorn…watch these movies…
beginning to end then share them with your friends.
I cant emphasize this enough!
Zeitgeist
Zeitgeist Addendum
Esoteric Agenda
I never saw Zeitgeist, nor have I the vaguest clue as to what it’s about.
I’m going to watch it right now though, thanks for the link
If we had worldwide anarchy heaps of people would die. It would be looting and survival of the strongest. I’m not strong.
I don’t like anarchy. I just want to make art.
Well, in page one I read protests against my post. This is my reply, I dont care how much people try to convince me, Im not concerned as long the wars stay away from sweden. But I hope Obama wins
Doesn’t matter anyway who wins. There’s still going to be war.
Not in sweden, here has no war been for 200 years.
And Barack is gonna end the Iraqwar.
If you don’t remember, this still all leads back to the Amero. It seems that this little topic has once again been passed up. Its going to happen sooner or later.
Those movies are INTENSE
What movie?
Obama also wants to send thousands more troops to afganistan, and said (and I quote) “There will be no excuse to be anti american any more, there will be no more free rides, allies will be expected to pull their weight.”
Is it just me, or does that sound like a bit of a threat?
On the other hand we have John McCain who famously said (after being asked about what his views on Iran were, and again, I quote) “Bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb, bomb Iran!”
All cheerfully sung to the tune of “Barbara Anne” by the Beach boys. EDIT: Just saw this on youtube: uk.youtube.com/watch?v=KeThckstK … re=related , I feel quite sick: “Lighten up”!?!??!?!
Oh, and Ms Palin described herself as a pitbull with lipstick. Would you leave her alone with your children?
/rant over.
Oh, don’t think that I’m anti american, I have american friends, but the goverment comes across as slightly psychopathic. And of course, Gordon Brown comes across as having no backbone so… Puppetry time methinks!!!
