The hard thing for me isn’t making things appear, but making them stay. Also, it is hard to make new locations, they have a tendency to look like somewhere I already know.
Flying isn’t hard for me. What’s hard is confronting my fears. I faced a few spiders once and then lost it. Or I’ll be up really high and lose it too. Ironically, I can fly no prob but standing on a cliff or something is too hard.
I have problems flying… I did it once, by jumping off a sky scraper. I fell pretty far before I flew over the street at an incredible speed.
heh only 1 LD so far so I can’t say what’s hard or not…
but flying wasn’t hard at all…I just jumped and started to fly.I couldn’t teleport myself though 
what i find hard is gaining height in flying. At one point i will become scared i will fall down, so i usually stay at about 20 metres above the ground. That is, if i can get that high, i often seem not to be able to gain height.
At least you’re able to get off the ground.

My only problem is that my LD’s are too short…
I find it hard to do just about anything in LDs.
I can’t find any DCs, I don’t have any super powers exept flying (and flying usually wakes me up), I get distracted by things I wouldn’t find very interesting IRL (I have wasted too many LDs on looking at trees), I have tried making food and DCs appear, but nothing happens and then I wake up.
Besides flying, I think I have only done something cool in my LDs a few times. I’ve gone through the mirror twice.
The first time, I ended up in an amazing psychedelic vision and then I woke up. Second time I just came out through the same mirror at the same time I stepped through.
i actually flew in my first LD, but not very far, high, or long 
In my next LD, I walked through a wall, and in my third i
materialized something. My biggest problem is that i’ve never
really been able to match the “level” of my first LD…
I’m sure that if i just get aware enough, i would have no
problem whith flying better.
(A little off-topic, but my next goal in LDing is
trying out what it’d be like to be god
