It gets better, I assure you. Or worse, depending on your point of view. The girl that I’m thinking of is a cat-woman from a game series. I’ve been thinking of her for around a year. Now, I have a psyche that can take a lot of stuff that is thrown at it, but I feel that eventually I am going to snap.
And I can’t stop. I’ve tried.

I don’t know why this is a problem, she sounds pretty cool! 
'Tis a problem because every waking minute of my existence is spent thinking of her. But my capacity for expression has allowed me to write stories about her, relieving some of the mind-crushing sorrow I feel. Upon reading this you may ask “Does he feel for this creature?” The answer is yes. It may baffle the logical part of your brains, but I know in my heart that if I somehow by the grace of God have an LD, she will be the first thing I conjure.
That’s not weird at all. I’ve fallen in love with a DC before, and then a few weeks later found out she was a real person. But I’m not going to get too much into that, other than I freaked her out (we talked on an online game, exchanged IM, then one day, she had a pic of herself up) I scared her, because, well…She died in the dream. I’m a little scared for her to tell you the truth. I wish you luck in having a lucid dream, it’ll help.
She is not a DC. She is a creation of Capcom, and she appears in the Darkstalker series. I recently acquired a poster of her. I have comics by Udon, the game for PSP, Night Warriors Vol. 2 for the PSP (Vol. 1 fell apart), and I wrote a story centered around the Night Warriors game with myself as the main character. And I fantasize about her every minute of the day. The only way I can interact with her is to have a lucid dream.
Do you see why I feel I am going to snap?

Here’s something fun for you. Last night I was having a dream, and the cat-woman was in it. She touched my hand and I could feel it tingling.
Exciting.
Maybe you projected your anima onto that character, and your unconscious is using her as a symbol while you sleep.
Ah. You dreamed about a furry. Felicia to be exact. I guess that some people could find her attractive. As a matter of fact I had once dreamed about that cat-thing. Good fighting game BTW. 
I can’t see anything life threatening- do you? Now the whole fantasizing issue, I would say Self Hypnosis and Meditation can get you back on track.

i had the same thing a few years ago, i dreamed a couple of times of a vampire girl and i thought of her for weeks… later i just forgot about her
maybe you’ll forget about it to in a few weeks…
maybe you think of her so much becouse you have all those things that remind you of her? 
It actually started out with just the PSP game (After I saw an advertisment in a game magazine). Then I got the comics by UDON (4-6 at a comic store, 1-3 online). Then I got the UMD movies. And recently I bought the poster on my Wii.
The last two signatures are from Vol. 2 of the Nightwarriors UMD.
I had meant that it was not that large of a deal and that meditation could help you focus and not think about her.
I am trying to meditate currently. I bought a cd where I work. So far it’s only succeded in making my body numb and turning me into a living bobblehead.
I doubt it will pass in a few weeks. I may have been thinking of her for a year, but this goes back to 2004 with various other women.
And let’s try to get back on topic, m’kay?
To me, it looks most obvious that she is a dream sign of something VERY important.

I found something on a dream interpretaion website, but I don’t really trust those. It’s interesting.
“To dream that you are being touched, represents your closeness and/or relationship with a particular person. It may also mean that you are connected with an aspect of yourself. Or you may be feeling emotional and sensitive.”
Now… Add this to the sensation when she touched me.
And tell me what it means.
Obvious. You like some aspect of yourself, or a closeness with some other. 
Dream interpretation is very psychological most of the time, by the way. I think it’s trustable.
