11:44 and OBE's

Hi everyone,

I’ve had several years experience in OBE and LD’s and was recommended this site by a friend - and I have to say it is a fantastic site.

I have a question, ever since I have been able to astral travel, I’ve had a strange re-occurrence in my waking life, in that when I often look at a digital clock it will read 11:44 or 11:11. I asked this question many years ago on an old astral travel forum and came across others with a similar experience.

This has occurred over a long period of time now, and I wonder if it’s going beyond the realm of coincedence. Has anyone else had the same experience here?

Keep up the great work everyone and for those who are still trying to OBE, keep at it, it took me months to do it but it could happen to you tomorrow… just keep saturating your life in it and it will come soon enough. I’ve found that I can’t control when I want to project now - they just come

I would say that this has nothing to do with your ability to astral travel but more you subconscious telling you when to look at a clock.
If I want to do something at a certain time then when i look at my watch to see if it is that time then it is usually quite accurate. Sometimes to the minute.
For you it might first have been a coincidence to see those numbers, but once you thought “i’m seeing these numbers a lot” your subconscious has likely got in the pattern of telling you to look at your clock at that time.
I think that this is a common experience with some people. That is why some people on the astral forum have had the same experience.
This is just my interpretation probably because i don’t yet have any reason to believe in astral travel. If i did i might say that those are the times that someone close to you was born/died or some sort of special time for you. But i’m not saying that because i don’t believe.

Hey there

Cheers for the reply. You’re probably right in that it’s more subconcious training than anything - just like for example if you own a blue motorbike, you start noticing blue motorbikes everywhere on the road around you - but if you upgrade to a red one, you stop seeing the blue ones and you notice how many others have red ones too

But I think you’re also right in some kind of residual importance is attached to that number, as weird stuff happens like waking up exactly at 11:44pm after a good couple hours sleep consistently over a few days, usually after intense dreaming. Again though it may be a subconcious prompt.

At mornings when I can sleep in, I always wake up at 11.15 or 12.10. To the minute. It gets quite annoying. Also I’ve noticed that I can tell time without looking at a clock…

Yeah my body clock is very accurate  Sometimes when i set my alarm i wake up a minute before it goes off :eh:

as a child i woke at 1 a clock in the night for several weeks by this strange dream. there were a band of black cartoon cats playing so fucki** loud rock music and somehow i knew they´ve kidnapped my mom so i awoke immidiatly and ran into my moms and dads bedroom to and slept at their safe side  - dreams are as real as “reality” when you´re a child, because the adult hasnt yet tought you that dreams are not real…
i think alot of these things happens to alot of ppl, and i agree with alex that it´s prob the subcon.
i do believe in OOBE thou as im lucky to have had the experience.
and as you say spong, you cant tell it to come, it will come when you least know it  and hey, welcome to the forum, hope you will stay around and contribute with your skills and experiences!

For about three years, almost every evening, when I looked at a clock it read 22:22. This was very annoying after some time, and I thought that it only happened because I was subconsciously trying to. So I decided to ignore it and not let it bother me. That didn’t work. It just kept on going, and going and going. It didn’t matter if the time actually was 22 minutes past 10 or not, I often looked at clocks that were too fast or too slow and they showed the same time. My dad’s in the habit of changing the time in the clocks around the house, to confuse me and my sisters because we’re always late, so I never know the time to the minute, but still this synchronicity, if you want to call it that, continued. I don’t remember how or why it stopped, but I think it had something to do with me taking a break from LD’s and related activities.

A few months back I was introduced to a guy, that’s now a good friend of mine. His girlfriend, which I’m working with, introduced us because of our shared interests and experiences, including LD’s, and I seldomly meet people in person that share my enthusiasm for such things. Anyway, he only had gotten a couple of LD’s and a few OoBE’s and he wanted to achieve a bit more experience in that area, so I gave him a few tips. We started hanging out and talking about stuff and gradually his LD frequency started to rise. Along them, he told me, he’d been having a weird coincidence with his clock. It was always showing the same hour number and minute number, like 13:13 or 21:21. I told him about my experience and what I thought of it, I hadn’t spoken about it before. He usually mentions when we talk what time he saw that day, but he hasn’t mentioned seeing 22:22 yet.
