im pretty new to lucid dreaming, got in on it about a month ago, or a little more than a month, and, to me, i am doing pretty damn good. first off, ive had 3 this week. and even though the first was only for about 5 seconds and the second about 15 seconds, they were still LD s. then, the night before last, i had another lucid dream. my longest one yet! about 25 seconds. cept this one was REALLY wierd.
the only way i can explain it is that i had my image of what i was seeing over me sleeping. i could see me sleeping, yet could see me doing my lucid dream. it was like the two had faded together, or that i was wearing glasses with a transparant picture of me asleep. what is happening…!
anyway, how good were you guys when you started out? it seems to me that i am only getting better and my LD s are only getting longer. hopefully im right, and i will be able to have a great long LD soon. thanks for reading!
It seems that you were having an OBE and at the same time you were projecting your dream with you or maybe it was a false OBE.
Well not pretty good i guess, my first ld was back then when i was 7, then my second one was like 2 months ago(they were lds but i don’t consider them real lds because they were only abstract imgs). Then i had my first induced and at the same time not induced ld while trying to OBE(WILD)about 2 months ago, it was a surprise indeed; the same with my last ld a few days ago.
It seems that my ld are one by month.

Some would explain this as a “genuine” OBE, however after long debate on this topic and quite some first hand experiences, I have myself come to the conclusion that it is “just” a dream in which you see yourself dreaming. But perhaps you have to draw your own conclusions and experience more of it. Anyway it’s a very interesting phenomenon!
I was Mattz a while back but I’ve lost the email address that it was tied to (mattmarc@lineone.net) so I can’t unlock it or prove to the mods it’s me.
I’ve been lucid twice, once was a realisation followed by almost instant wake up. The second involved me thinking “Oh cool!” and then I looked up from my reality check to find a Suzuki motocycle about to hit me in the face. Never woken up so violently in my life
