3d Person Lucidity, like a Game? Blurry People? HALP!

First off to say, I am a giant fan of Minecraft. I love it. Well, I’d figure that reflected on my dreams. I sometimes have natural LDs, and the latest was 2 days ago, which got me motivated to do it more. However, in Lucid Dreams, (I have never done one by myself, currently trying!) it always appears blurry, or in 3rd person view. The people seem always like graphics, and I (seriously) had a Minecraft toolbar on the bottom of my vision. By reading on this forum I am assuming this is very low level lucidity, I mean, I understood I was in a dream and I could do anything, but instead of caring about how I saw the dream I just tried to find the nearest girl or fly. After I flew, the whole Dream was an entire blur that I forget, and I don’t remember waking up.

Is it possible to get a Lucidity dream to be literally like looking through your own two pairs of eyes?

Guys, I need help.

First off to say, yea, of course you an have first person LDs.

Second off, I am (also) a giant fan of Minecraft. I can trace its references in my dreams all the way up to when I purchased the game.

As for fixing your perspective problems… I don’t often have 3rd person dreams, and when I do, they’re almost always NDs. When I have LDs they’ve always been in first person.

You could try closing your eyes (in dream) and believing that when you open them you’ll be in first person. Only you can find the method that will allow you to get out of your fix.

Yeah, I get what you mean, but when I’m in a dream I don’t think about that kind of stuff. I’m going to try to WILD tonight/in the morning and see if that increasing my lucidity.

Thats funky, I never have 3rd person dreams.

I am also a huge fan of Minecraft, I’ve got a server too
I’ve only had a 3d person dream once, I was in Halo and my brother was driving a warthog in the map sandtrap, there was some dude in the gunner side and I was in the turret, nobody else was there, we were just driving around. Very interesting. I’ve never had an inventory screen before, but I’ve had dreams where I’ve been in the Minecraft hunger games or something . :content: Very peculiar.

I’m pretty sure I’ve had game menus in my dreams before.

Well SkullGunner, the only thing you could really do then is work on improving your awareness. That would be greatly efficient in helping to realize that you’re dreaming and fix the problem in the first place. Still, only you can find the right solution.

(4therace: Halo 3 is an awesome game… Oh, and you haz a server??? I can haz IP??)

Sure, haha! What’s your Minecraft name? The server IP is worldcraftmc.zapto.org. If you could, you should get teamspeak, we could play minecraft and talk about lucid dreaming or something!

Third person dreams happen to all gamers. I read a study someone did on the subject One time. When I am lucid and in third person I fix it by closing my eyes and imagining an options menu of sorts and pressing toggle first person. The only problem is sometimes I teleport when I close my eyes so be careful when doing this.

Happens a lot to me as well, especially when I went on a skyrim marathon, since I play in third person. When I play minecraft a lot, I get a ton of minecraft dreams.

When this happens, I shout out a dream command saying “I want to be first person again!”. It always works.
