Okay, this one was weird. A couple weeks ago I dreamt that Nicki Minaj was in my living room. I was dreaming this again this night. So, it was like this:
I was in my room with my brother and sister. We talked about Nicki Minaj and that she was in the house right now. I got really happy and changed clothes to a rainbow t-shirt, who I don’t even have IWL. I went out of my room and saw one of her agents, and I don’t know why, but I asked him for Nickis autograph and he said “ask Nicki for it”. So I went out to the living room and talked to her, and then I went to the kitchen to sleep. I put my head on one chair and let the rest of my body on the floor. I repeated the sentence “I’m dreaming” on my mind. Suddenly I was dreaming a lucid dream in the dream. The dream started to fade away but I rubbed my hands and suddenly I was running, but I felt that my body did that too so I stopped and then I woke up… So what was this? Was it a LD?
If your realized that you are dreaming, then yes. I’ve also had lucid dream in a normal dream. I did a WILD during a ND and successfully had a short LD. After that I “woke up” in the original ND. I guess this counts as a LD, even if it was followed by a FA (and started by False sleeping).
no it is not, is a fake lucid dream, you were concious on a second plane, you were just dreaming that you had a lucid dream, i have had lots of those, and they are not lucid dreams
but it means you are close to having a lucid dream!
Sounds like a FLD to me too. Although sometimes it can be very tricky to see the difference between a FLD and a real LD. If you truely KNEW and it was a dream, then it was a LD, otherwise you just dreamed about knowing you were dreaming. Confused? me too!
but as jaggs said, FLD’s are close to LD’s, so keep trying!
I was totally conscious in the WILD inside a ND and I was aware and in control of my actions. I was lucid. Thus it is Inception-style dream within a dream, where one of the dreams is lucid. Still, it’s a lucid dream, not a FLD.
This happened to me once. I dreamed that I was dreaming a LD. But I know it wasn’t a real LD because I realized this after I woke up, not while dreaming. But it was funny to see myself getting excited about having a LD dream! Hahaha. It’s a very confusing experience, but still fun I think
