This last night I had this dream where I was sitting at a table with a cute girl on the other end, and suddenly I started flirting with her, gazing into her eyes and smiling, and we were sitting like that for perhaps 5-6 seconds.
Then she suddenly told me that I “needed to smile more”, and that she couldn’t see me do it, so I smiled more and more (not a freaky-looking smile, though xD) until she eventually said “yes that’s more like it, now I can see your smile”.
I must say it did feel really good during the dream, and I tried it when I woke up and I loved that smile when I saw myself in the mirror.
Should I think of this as some sort of lesson, or is it just a funny coincidence?
Was this girl trying to tell me that I don’t smile very often or something?
Yeah, I suppose it could also mean that I am too careful about flirting in general, and that’s actually true - I am a bit too proud to open up for girls like that, so I tend to be rather serious and “on guard”.
But then again, there really isn’t anything to be ashamed of while showing affection for someone, as long as it’s done in a pleasant and playful way.
This definitely sounds like a candidate for a dream guide / spirit guide dream, if you believe in such things. It’s also possible it’s a bit of self reflection being illustrated in a dream. I’ve had a number of dreams where I dreamed what I needed to dream to make me realise something I was neglecting.
