A wierd problem

Hey everyone.
Ok i just read NatePequeno’s thread called “Wierd dreams when sick (fever)” and i have “Kinda” the same problem, but it is slighty diffrent and i didnt want to steal his thread, but here we go
When i was a child up to about 8 i couldnt sleep alone coz i had the very worse cases of night terrors,
if you dont know what this is:
“A night terror, also known as pavor nocturnus, is a parasomnia sleep disorder characterized by extreme terror and a temporary inability to regain full consciousness. The subject wakes abruptly from slow-wave sleep, with waking usually accompanied by gasping, moaning, or screaming. It is often impossible to fully awaken the person, and after the episode the subject normally settles back to sleep without waking. A night terror can rarely be recalled by the subject. They typically occur during non-rapid eye movement sleep.”

en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Night_terrors
Tho i could ALWAYS remember mine in the morning

and over time they did stop but my “sick dreams” did not, at random time, less now that when i was young, but they do still happen, i have a dream, like normal, but it will walk through a door sometime in the dream, and from here it is always the same, i walk down a hallway that look like the final corridor to gonnondarf in “zelda: ocirina of time” but not up stairs its a straight corridor, with pictures of wierd monsters and stuff on the walls, and i know in my head, in my dream, and i am in a way lucid by this point as i can say to my self “Dont look at these pics coz youll be sick” but i always lose my lucidity within a second, and i look at them, wake up and throw up, then i feel fine, and can go to sleep, and be great in the morning. ???
Edit: I also get a “stabbing” pain like a migrane behind my right eye, and its ALWAYS my right eye

I’ve never heard anything like it. Waking up and throwing up, pain behind the right eye. That sounds very very unusual. I’d be a bit concerned. Maybe you should talk to a doctor about it. Unless anyone here can give a satisfying answer, and maybe even then.

i have in the past but he just said, you shouldnt be to consurned about it, but if he helt how much it hurt my eye, then he wouldnt say that so qwuickly lol

I agree athat the stabbing pain behind the right eye does not sound like a good thing, but if it isolated to when you are ill there may be an explanation that a doctor can offer.

As for “sick dreams”, I used to get those when I would get ill when I was younger. They were more like, “fever dreams” though. Whenever I had strong fever I would always have these re-occuring dreams that were not the best. Then I would half wake up and the dream would still be kind of around me, and I could hear the characters from my dreams continueing their conversations. Needless to say it was not the best experience to have when feeling ill.

They eventually faded as I grew up. I just tried to stay healthy and not get ill. Which has helped.

yeah i have heard of “fever dreams” and i know that it was not that cozi would go to sleep felling fine, wake up sick, then wake up in the morning fine, it wasnt a fever

some doctors need to help better. and as for your pain in the right eye ask your subconscious in your next LD. it might help a lot.
