a WILD without even trying?

so yesterday night, after like an hour of sleep (I think) I realize that I can’t move. This is very hard to explain but I could hear a song I know (I could hear it so clear as if there were earphones in my ear) and I can’t move. I am scared to death since I heard about those SP hallucinations and stuff and I try to move my body so I close my eyes and WTF! Everything is green. When I close my eyes, everything is green!!! I’m like oh sh**!!! I try so hard to move but I can’t and I’m seeing this green thingy! After like 3 minutes or so I give up and just stare into the greenness. And then I had like a short LD (my second one ever). I’m in this classroom, I somehow do a RC. The first one, the hand RC fails. But the seconds one, the nose check thingy, it works! But as soon as I realize I can breathe with my nose pinched, I wake up! I wake up and remember to do a RC. And omg I could still breath with my nose pinched. I wake up again. It is real life. When I wake up I’m like so amazed and can’t believe what just happened because of what I just experience.

Okay, so back to my question: Can you get a WILD even if you’re not trying?? Because I was definitely not trying anything that night (especially a WILD cuz I’m too scared to do it)

Yes, you can. If you happen to be lucky enough to wake in SP, you can quickly induce a WILD, and if you know how, immediately seize control over your dream.

Many have a LD without trying, the fact is that it’s not that hard at all  it’s just the issue of staying aware while you drift off, and that can happen by itself on relaxed nights.

You had a WILD and you had SP. And was there really anything scary? I mean, I know it can be weird, but you only felt scared when you thought something scary would appear and that you couldn’t move. Just relax and listen to the music! SP music can be sooooo awesome :content:

But if you REALLY want to give up on all the fun and break the SP  you shouldn’t try to force your body to move, that just makes it worse. what seems to work really good for me is start breathing fast. after a few seconds your body realizes that that breathing pattern is different and that the mind is awake, so the SP stops.

and grats on the WILD!

That’s a nice bit of advice for me too , I do get quite scared being out of control, so I’ll bear that in mind, Thanks
