After doing WBTB I can't remeber any dreams

When I do WBTB I get out of bed and walk a bit until I’m awake. After 20-30 minutes I get back to bed and do MILD. After both times of doing it I couldn’t remeber a dream or even a fragment. My DR was block completely. Are there any suggestions or tips?

I’d suggest trying it a little more before you give up on it. I use WBTB and it’s improved my dream recall massively, most nights I now remember at least one dream, some nights it’s up to as many as 4.

maybe you are trying to hard to lucid dream in my experience i would try really really hard to lucid dream and do all of the techniques and put all this stress on myself thinking that i have to go lucid and stuff but i took a break for like two nights and i had my first lucid dream… i know that didnt really answer your question directly but i hope it helped :smile:

I think I will give this technique few more times and after that I’ll post the results.
I don’t think that problem is trying too hard because I only try techniques and give them some intention just on weekends. So my half break from lucid dreaming (I still do reality checks and awareness excercises) is 5 days a week. Maybe that’s the problem?

Well it’s very important when you wake up and how you wake up. The best case scenario would be if you would wake up in the middle of the REM cycle which would mean that you would wake up in the middle of the dream which would make your odds of remembering those dreams greatly higher.

Also if you wake up with alarm it’s not strange that you don’t remember a single dream. Alarm usually does that. It wakes you to quick and to harshly. If you use auto suggestions and if you get the habit of waking up let’s say at 4 am every night than you could wake up easily, on yourself and your dreams would stick with you longer…
