Alarm Clock Doesnt Work

Ok guys this is strange- Normally I use autosuggestion to wake up in the middle of the night, but now I tried using an alarm clock. It failed.
First, I put i next to my bed. In the middle of the night, I woke up, quickly turned it off, and went back to sleep. In the morning I realize I wasnt even consciously doing it, I remember myself turning it off but dont remember giving my muscles the command to do so.
Next night, I put the alarm clock on the other side of the room. Same thing happens. I wake up, go to the alarm clock, turn it off, then go back to sleep, and I remember it the same way.

:help:

You’ll need to take special care to wake up some before getting back in bed. Go to the restroom, or maybe try some stretches.

I realized this too. I told myself, “the next time, walk around the house a bit after waking up”, but no use. I just turn off the alarm clock and go back to sleep without thinking.

Are you able to set multiple alarms? Try setting one for 5-15 minutes after the first.

That should pretty much be the proof it’s not the alarm that makes the difference, but rather your will and intent to wake up. Try using more specific autosuggestions like “I’ll wake up at X:XX and stay awake for Y minutes”, and put your intent in that, I’m sure everything will go alright :content:

better easier idea: put the alarm clock across the room so you have to get up to turn it off.

In the morning when my allarm goes off I automaticallly jump out of bed and turn it off. I don’t even need to think about it. Is that like what you had?

Dude ,have you even read the post? I said here

Kind of, except included in the sequence of jumping out of bed and turning it off is jumping back into bed and going to sleep

Yes, I can already do autosuggestion quite effectively, i want to use an alarm clock to make it easier and effective 100% of the time
