Last night I had a dream where I was at a party, and was drinking vodka or something similiar. This got me thinking; When you drink alcohol in a dream, do you dream the effects of alcohol, or do you stay soba? I geuss this goes for any substance that alters your state of mind.
Some people have dreamed they took hallucinogens and it gave very funny results. I’ll try to find the post.
Yes, alcohol works for me in dreams. I often have non lucid dreams where i get drunk on alcohol.
I think it depends what you expect: to be drunk, or not. I had a ND where i accidently instead glass of beer i drank glass of vodka. I got freaked, because i was afraid of the very nasty feeling in my throat after that and possible consequences of drunkeness. But as i wished no harmful results, i actually did not felt almost any bitter feeling in my throat, or stomach, nor do i remember that i got drunk before the dream ended.
I have heard about people who can maintain full soberity even after drinking excess vodka just to show that they can control themselves. So if it can be done with your mind-control IRL, how much more our dreams are controlled by the will of our mind.
ive had intoxicated dreams. the best are when i receive some kind of a pill, never knowing what it is i eat it. sometimes its accompanied by a name like ET351 or ITS-190 or something. they usually always turn out to be a super hallucinogen and i find myself within ecstatic patterns of swirling light and super visual hallucinations. its fantastic.
im a proponent of psychedelic drugs in waking life, but in dreams , the trip can be magnified a thousand times.
i love psychoactive drugs, but Lucid Dreaming takes the cake!!! 
give ingesting psychedelic drugs a shot, its one of the neatest, most unique experiences the dreamer can have.
plus you’re free from these insane American drug laws, geez. if someone needed spiritual guidance in life, and you could give it to em in a five dollar hit of LSD, wouldn’t you do it? its only reasonable. i worked out most all of my problems or hangups or whatever you want to call them through psychedelic chemistry. let it be known.
I’ve dreamt about taking all sorts of drugs, some I have taken before, some I haven’t. Usually it feels pretty similar in the dream as it is IRL, and if I’ve never actually done the drug it feels how I imagine it would feel IRL.

alcohol in dreams doesn’t get me drunk, nor does weed get me high… but i’ve never been high either… but i have been drunk.
In the dreams where I drink alcohal only 2 different things have happened:
- If I know im drinking beer, i get sick in the stomach and get an urge to drink more and more… (I usually end up drowning, or stumbling off a building in search of more beer)
- If I dont know what im drinking is beer, the flask or bottle will start talking and tell me I did, and i get kind of dizzy and tired, and my skin starts to turn kind of white and fall off in clumps. Lol, thank god that real beer doesnt have these side effects
I wonder what happens if you take something where you dont know what the effects are.
In an ND i took sum shrooms (for some bizarre reason it was in a powder), I have never taken these b4 and nothing like them so I didnt know what the effects would be. In the end nothing happened, although I did gte woken up soon after taking it.

I never drank alcohol in my life, and I never took drugs, but when I do in a ND, I get dizzy and start laughing silly 
. I guess it’s what expect will happen if I drink alcohol or take drugs. But I never tried in a LD before, hmm …
i recently had a beer in a dream and it tasted like a real beer… i don’t much care for the taste of beer myself, but this one was okay, except it had that nasty sour aftertaste to it,it may have been heineken.
ah it was, i remember, it was a king of the hill dream… it’s weird how cartoons can mesh with “relaity” yet seem normal to you at the time.

I’ve smoked marijuanna numerous times in dreams. The affects are NOTHING like getting high. My vision usually becomes very blurry and everything sorta turns into liquid and swirls around. But I feel high. But my vision is totally insane.
