Almost like a puppet in LDs

In LDs, I have a low level of conciousness, so all my LDs are definitely LDs, but I move in a sort of unrealistic, puppet-like manner, probably an error from the fact that everything I’m doing is controlled both conciously and subconciously.
My thoughts, movements, and observations are half concious, half subconcious, which is just too low a ratio for a usable, stable LD. How can I increase this ratio?

The lucid dreams are false-awakenings where I’ve become concious less than a minute before entering a dream.

Also, any good threads on how to aim for a specific dream from a waking/halfway through WILD state?

Can you say that you are similar in waking life. That everything you do is more on the automatic mode rather then conscious mode? Are you aware your actions as you are doing them?

The thing is as it seems you don’t have to much trouble getting lucid but being really lucid and staying that way for some time is a obstacle for you. Becoming lucid/conscious/aware in waking life the same will happen in a LD too.

Good luck! :content:

Maybe a lack of concentration is the problem. And istead of doing something specific you just go with the flow and dont pay much attemntion on what you’re actualy doing
Try thinking of something you wanna do next time you have a LD.

No, I certainly cannot say that I am similar in waking life. To the point of my suspecting that I am every so slightly OCD.

That’s what I’m already 70% doing, going with the flow. The other 30% is trying to make the flow more interesting and avoid the occasional half-concious summoning of nightmarish entities.

Oh, and do you mean think of something fun to do pre-dream or during the dream?

I mean before the dream  Just think of several things that you could do next time in LD. For example try flying,or having a conversation with a dream character . You know something simple,so would have something to concentrate on. Atleast for me,when i become lucid my memory comes back and i remember quite good what i wanted to do.
P.S. And dont forget about such things as rubbing your hands from time to time,or spinning. Really helps when dream starts so fade or you start to feel that you lose control of it.
