Alter egos

Do you guys ever have alter egos in dreams? I mean, be a completely different person, or maybe just have a different personality?

Let’s use this topic to talk about them and discuss :happy:

I usually am myself, but in some situations I change the way I do things. Also, in rare ocasions I’ve been somebody else.

This night, on one dream I was myself, but I was part of a group of some sort of monster hunters, and I had a cool chain that acted as a whip.

Also, on another dream, I was Artemis Fowl, from the book series :happy:

Well Rodrigo, as you know (!), I quite often am other people in dreams. Not always, though, and sometimes it’s only certain aspects of me that change (appearance or personality, for instance).

I’ve been:
Married
A mother
Male
Very young
Male AND very young
Asian
South American
A twin/sister/brother
The top boss (yay!)
An executive psychologist
Royalty
A supernatural investigator
Not human
Two-dimensional text (that was a weird one)
An heiress
A dryad
Evil
A ghost
Dead

… just to name a few. :lol:

90% of the time I’m a male in my dreams with black and silver hair, silver eyes, bat wings, and black clothes.

Sometimes I turn into a beast too.

I’m very rarely someone else in a dream. I was a girl twice, and that was it. :sad:

I really have to remember to look at myself in dreams in the future.

I was a girl once and another time, Asian. The latter is in my DA…somewhere… But never really anything else.

On one occasion, I was some sort of witch that took pleasure in scaring people and chasing them around. :ebil:

As for any others, just a couple of nights ago, I had a lucid dream in which I transformed into a monster of some sort and had an urge to eat people. :wink:

I needed to escape a situation in a ND so I accidentally transformed into a 30 foot monster. It was half wolf (head, tail, front paws) and half dragon (wings, body, rear legs) once this transformation occurred I no longer need to escape. :cool:

I remember to have been many times another people but when I remember well, it’s always like I’m watching a movie, or hearing a story, then I identify into the main character.

Recent one - I was a German school boy
Jobs I have had only in dreams - lawyer, nurse, teacher, lecturer on dreams :tongue:

When I look into mirrors I see different versions of me - once I was bald :cry: once I was evil me :cool_laugh: once I saw evil little witch girl :wiske: :help: Now I don’t like to look in dream mirrors :scared:

Oh, of course! :ack: How could I forget about the time I had dreamt that I was Bruno? I think that counts as an alter ego dream, if you ask me. :content:

I’m usually myself in dreams, but sometimes it comes out that I’m something crazy. See, last week I dreamt that I kidnapped my own dream wife to escape the police! O.o
It’s very fun when you get different personalities in dreams XD
