an interesting dream

well this is my first post in the ld4all forum i hope i posted this question in the right place…

anyways i have been interested in having lucid dreams for quite some time now, and i have tried many methods to have one. i was able to have only two lucid dreams in which as soon as i realized that i was lucid, i instantly woke up(got too excited i guess).

one of the dreams that i have remembered having recently(not lucid in the dream) is was me and a bunch of my friends in a church for some reason, and we were all loaded with automatic weapons, it was the first time i ever felt emotion from other dream characters as i could kind of “sense” that they were scared. well anyway a bunch of people i could not quite make out raided the church very quickly and we were overwhelmed. i remember i was in front of all of them for some reason as if to protect them in a way i guess, but i realized that my gun had no ammunition in it once they entered!
i remember hiding between some pues (quite possibly spelled very wrong) in an attempt for the enemy not to see me. one man had seen me and came very close, just a few feet away. This is the only time i also had ever felt fear in a dream, which is odd cause i had been in worse situations, and he shot me point blank in the stomach with his rifle and moved on. it was the most exrushiating pain i had ever felt before, dream or real, i actually felt it from the inside and out, as the bullet entered and tore apart my stomach. the pain was so intense that i started to black out, and everything went red then black, i cannot describe with words the pain that i felt from the wound.
anyways i very shortly woke up, in the fetal position btw, and my stomach hurt and was very tight, within a couple of seconds after awaking the pain was not nearly as intense as in the dream, but still there. i laid for a minute or two holding my stomach, and when i stood up from my bed, i had a very large red spot, and almost bruised where i had been shot, and it stayed for quite a few minutes before it very quickly disappeared. i guess my question is has anyone else had an experience like this? would a dream like this have some kind of meaning?

First, Welcome to the forum!! :welcome:

Sounds like a very vivid dream. Sometimes things you feel in real life will transfer into your dreams. For example, once I was in a dream and something all of a sudden crushed my arm. My arm broke. And it hurt. Once I woke up, a looked down at my arm, and found that I had been sleeping on it. THats what caused the sensation in the dream. This seems to happen a lot to me, and as for meaning, only you can know for sure if it means something.
