I found that keeping a dream journal on this forum is much more convenient, and therefore, motivating than in a paper journal at home. Since I’ve started on that, I’ve had drastic increase in recall and vividness. Why, just last night I remembered 4 dreams in the morning. I haven’t been able to do that in ages!
Just yesterday I tried chaining the first time and almost had success. I was very close, I tried to read an imaginary book (awake, in my head) and the text was something I didn’t make up consciously so I was nearly in a dream. I also saw some other dream scenes. I would call it a successful attempt because it was my first time to try chaining.
Half an hour ago I had a dream about spaceships. As you can see, they are my LD goal, so I’m happy that they’ve decided to come into my dream at last.
Had a dream a fortnight ago, wherein i was in my hall and suddenly realized that i am dreaming. (I do not know what triggered this). I called my aunt who was nearby and told her that we are dreaming. She didn’t believe first but later convinced. Then i tried summoning my cellphone and succeeded. Then i tried calling my spirit guide, but the dream ended.
Nice work, guys! Remember, everything that happens is a milestone. Every “almost” is a success. If you have a really cool or even just interesting ND, that’s an awsome thing too! Keep it up friends!
I had LDs before, during the past 10 years maybe, but I have never been interested in LDreaming seriously. I was just intrigued that sometimes I became lucid in my dreams. Most of the time it was as a result of FAs, sometime 4-5-6 in a row. Some other times, I just did become lucid and never knew what to do with it.
Just recently (2 months ago) I came across books about LDs, got familiar with techniques and started a DJ. During this period, I had one LD, semi-aware, one month and a half ago. It just gave me the strength to continue, but it also frustrated me even more.
Last night it happened. I became incredibly aware in my dream, at the end of the first dream cycle. I was a bit scared, and overwhelmed, but it was an incredible sensation. I awoke and wrote the experience in my DJ, and then got back to sleep. At the end of the second dream cycle I had a second LD. No fear this time, just an incredible feeling of joy. Both dreams lasted about 1 minute each, but now I feel that this is only the beginning and I am very excited about what I can do in my dreams from now on.
And yes, I felt like I really needed to tell somebody. So I did. Here.
