Appended “(LDs more restful?)” to the title for clarification.

Yep! After lucid dreams that i have I always feel well rested and have lots of energy, even if the lucid dream is very short. Its nice after having a very vivid and busy lds to feel this way when you would expect to be tired.
yes, I feel positive and refreshed, after waking up from a lucid dream. Even if it’s on a Monday morning. If it is a dull, gloomy dream I might feel that way when I wake up too.
It would seem dreams have a considerable effect on our mood when we wake up. Like when you have a really sad or disturning dream, you feel depressed during the day. Happened to me before.
That’s so true Saffer.
Yes, every dream I have had, so long as it was lucid or even just an exciting or good dream, would I wake up much more refreshed than the usual. I don’t really know why this would happen, but it sure is a nice way to wake up.
Yes! I feel that way after every LD I have. I feel very positive, relaxed and renewed. I feel a lot better when I wake up after a night of LDs compared to a night where I have none.
I’m always so happy after a LD, seeing every one of them as an achievement and a step torwards personal improvement ^^ i think about it during most of the day whaen i have one.
Besides, even the normal WBTB + Journaling is restful enough to let me walk away with 6 hours of sleep (if i fail to get to sleep again), because remembering the dreams i had makes me effectively think i lived more than just the hours i’ve been awake, plus it’s always fun to discover something about yourself during the journaling process and it keeps me happy during the day.
For the restfulness (if that’s a work ) I can’t comment.
But when I had a lucid related dream ( dunno if it was just low level lucidity or a fld) I did indeed have a big grin on my face for the whole day
My guess: When you have a lucid dream you usually wake up right after it ends. This is the right time to wake up, even with normal dreams. Ok, you usually feel happier and accomplished when you have a LD, but waking up right after a dream is often replenishing because you didn’t start the process of getting asleep again yet and, consequently, didn’t break it.
yea im going to have to say i feel better in the morning after a nice vivid ND and a long lucid one
Yep, I always feel happy and much more well rested after a good LD
do you think that lucid dreams seem to stimulate the brain more thus making feel better when we wake up
could be- or maybe some type of chemical is released during LDs that makes you very happy?
I think it would be connected to our mindset personally. I tend to find if I go to sleep happy then I will have a much more restful sleep. If I was to lucid dream I would become happy, that I had achieved it and also from enjoying the experience; thus meaning I am more relaxed in my sleeping and get more out of it. Worrying when sleeping seems to cause anxiety dreams and the sleep is much less restful for me.
