Lately I’ve noticed a lot of dreams where my mouth is absolutely full of something that I have a difficult time pulling out. last night it was bubble gum, and I dug my fingers in to get gobs out, but it did not do much good. A few days ago I was brushing my teeth and the toothbrush turned into noodles which filled my mouth in the same fashion.
I’ve always had a mess of a time expressing myself verbally, so I would think that this dream sign would have presented itself years ago. I have recently been doing the NEW energy exercises before bed. I wonder if it’s jarring something loose?
A couple of nights ago in an ND I had something stuck in my throat. I couldn’t cough it out or anything and was getting really pissed. That morning there was something in my throat for reals, and it wasn’t easy getting that sludge out. So I guess I have had this dream sign also. lol
I have had this dreamsign as well. Things stuck in my throat and pulling out things of my throat. And yes, it could have to do with you having difficulty with expressing yourself verbally - but that you are getting over that now - so now you get those dreams because you are working on that. Removing the blocks in your throat.
i used to think that i must be the only one with that dreamsign. in my dreams, i usually realise that i am trying to eat something that isn’t really edible, and then it is hard to pull it out of my mouth. it feels like glue or plastic. another member, asclepias i think, has also had this dream often.

did you by any chance work on your throat chakra as well? communication problems usually occur when you have a block in your throat chakra, with visualisation/exercises, well with healing too, you can work on that and my guess is that your dreams are a result of that. And you are working on it in other ways already so that might have “loosened” things up a bit as well
I don’t do reiki, but healing… well how to call that. hands on healing? in dutch it is called “magnetiseren”, but I prefer the term healing and it’s not like projecting it’s like seeing that person, connecting and then the healing energy comes through. I prefer to use pictures or have the other person live with me on webcam or something
I have usually interpreted this dream as “gaping over more than i can swallow”. It also has an element of embarrassment, because it often happens in public!
I have already had this dreamsign several times. I had my throat filled with a viscous substance and whenever I tried to pull it out, it was impossible, it was stuck deeply into my troat and it was hurting. This is pretty disturbing during the dream. But this may be due to the fact that you have mucus down your throat during your sleep and that that affects the way you sleep.
i guess it really depends on whether you are having a level 1 dream or a level 2 dream. if you want to go all jungian on the topic incidentally, i havent seen this sign for a while now. and i am leaving this job (mortgage sales), so perhaps the sign for me was specifically job-related.
Q, i have tried to work on my throat chakra in the past. i dont know how much success i had. sometimes i carry around blue agate. but then, i have read that it is very difficult to work on the major chakras directly. maybe just for some people though.

down to my penultimate pig foetus. It was in my mouth … but I couldn’t continue! So I put my hand to my mouth and tried to take it out. I got hold of it and pulled … but I only pulled out a string with attached round globules on it. The foetus had lots of eggs in it??? I FELT SICK. I could feel the globules on my tongue as they were pulled out … and more and more was being pulled out. Eventually I managed to break the string and with a reluctant gulp managed to swallow the pig foetus.
