Are we aware of HH everytime we fall asleep in the night?

I thought this was pretty fascinating.
I know that we experience hallucinations when we fall asleep, but does that mean that we are actually aware of them and notice them every night, but then forget about it?

I thought this sounded a lot like when we forget dreams - a lot of people have vivid and eventful dreams that they cannot even recall in the morning, so maybe it’s the same with Hypnagogic Hallucinations?
Maybe all of us notice them with full awareness without remembering it in the morning?

I doubt it. You can’t remember something when your mind is barely active. We’re thinking when we are dreaming, but not during HH. That’s where WILD comes in. When someone uses WILD, they’re trying to keep their brain slightly more active during the Hypnagogic state, therefore allowing them to remember it.
