I had a lucid dream last night. Unfortunatly, I just dreamt I did.
D*mmit!
I dreamt that I used VILD to get a lucid dream. I then had one, woke up once and thought “What a short dream. Oh well, since I’m dreaming, it’s just my perception of how this dream should be.”. Then I woke up.
Being lucid doesn’t count if you don’t know your dreaming in the first place! Which makes no sense. And if I know I’m dreaming, why don’t I know?
Why is it just accepted by my subconcious without informing me first? This is the second time I’ve known I’m dreaming without being lucid.
Ah well, it can only be progress. Just thought I’d share it.
My first lucid dream happened while I was dreaming. lol!
If you dream that you know you are in a dream it is technically still a LD. Its the awareness that counts. Its like being in a house inside a smaller house, you’r still inside. and about your subconscious, it just works in weird mysterious ways …
It’s probably a preview of a LD. Like in the cinema “Comming soon…”
Next time try to crack the barrier between knowing that you are dreaming and KNOWING that you are dreaming!
Keep working on it! peace@us.all
not to be mean but that would be more of an accomplishment to me more than anything else. That would mean that your thinking about becoming lucid while dreaming and you could be on the verge of having your first lucid dream.
I completely agree. Just look at my sig… But VILD is a curious technique as it can lead to a DILD or to a WILD as well.
I’ve had a dream in which I was in my bed. I tried to WILD and succeed. I was very happy because it was the first time! Then I had a lucid dream and it ended when I dreamt I woke up in my bed. It looks very like your dream, the only difference is the induction method which was used… in the dream!
Thus, the first part of our dreams was prelucid (dreaming about something related to LD’ing). Then we had a true LD. Then it was a FA.
