ASPILD-awaking sleep paralysis induced dream

I don’t know if anyone has tried this, but it works :woo: VERY :woo: good!!!
What I do is, I set my alarm clock to beep only 3 times, and when I wake up, I don’t move at all. And within 30 seconds my body is going into SP. Then I think about what I would want to do in a dream and a dream appears and I’m in it!!! However, the first few times I tried it I started moving on instinct, so you have to train yourself to stop moving when you wake up. Well, tell me what you think.

You’re lucky, it’s usually not that easy for everyone! This sounds essentially like a WILD, where you enter SP first and then visualize your dream scene. It’s good that you have found a technique that works for you, have fun with it!

This might be a good idea. It’s like waking up and sleeping straight away so our consciousness is carried into our next dream. I’ll try this to see if it works. Do you have great success doing this?

As long as I dont move, I enter SP very quickly, and from SP its very easy to enter an LD, and Ive done this about 7 times, and it worked 5. Once it didnt work because I moved, and once because I fell asleep, so yeah, Id say that it works quite well.

Too bad i dont have an alarmclock with a function like that :meh:

Wow. Rubiks_cube_man. That’s a very high success rate in my opinion. Yeah, but my alarm rings incessantly.

Check your cellphone if it has some kind of timer ( egg timer ). I use the timer on my cellphone instead of the usual alarm. I set it to count down from like 5-6 hours and the timer alarm shuts itself off after some time. Works like a charm

what does, the cellphone or the technique?

Hi

could this be done in the morning too? Something simiar to WILD and DEILD?

By the way, i have an iPhone. Does anyone know a good application, for a alarm that beeps like… 3-4 times, and then not more?

I was just gonna ask. I like the Sonar beep in the default Clock app cos it’s real gentle, but it goes on until you unlock the thing.

I agree, the iPhone isn’t good for this sort-of thing. I’ll try to find a good app for it though…

This technique seems highly effective though! It definately needs a lot of practice, but could potentially be very successful.

Did you develop this as a variation of WILD or of DEILD? I’m just curious :content:

Go to lucidology.com/arpgate/custom/timer-in.php and choose 2.) Timer MP3 Download if the link doesnt work.

This site gives you mp3s of silence hours and beeps. Transfer the mp3s to your phone. Then make a music playlist on your phone. Now you can build your own playlist using silence hours and beeps. I usually have the playlist play 4 hours of silence, then a couple of beepers to wake me up.

Adjust the hours of silence to what would work for you. Then put in a good amount of beeps to wake you up. It’s important to put in enough beeps, so you dont sleep right through it.

After the hours of silence, when the beeps are done playing, it should go right back to the beginning of the playlist, playing silence hours again. This way you dont have to move to turn off the alarm! :woo:

I believe this is just chaining.

Except forced.
