astral

i tried to astral project. i was in bed relaxing and it was about 4 in the morning and i hadnt slept. then my body started to feel funny. i felt unporportional, like my upperbody was huge and my lower body small. i felt suddenly out of breath and and my throat dry. I think this is vibrations, what should i do after this.

I have had vibrations one other time and i cant do it unless im very tired (4 am).

what should i do.

Hey Josh,

What you should do is post such questions in the “Beyond dreaming” part of the forum

But I can give you some advice too. What you are trying to do is actually entering a dream by the use of WILD, so i suggest you go read up on that tech. These vibrations you get are a sign you are slipping deeper into a trance, it is a way you can enter a lucid dream if you can control your fears and stay calm, also you might want to try an ‘exit procedure’ when you are deep enough in it, just step or roll out of your body right into a LD.

how do i know when im ready to step out.

also when i did this it felt like i shifted all my organs and diaphram (sp?) into my ribcage.

i always post in the “the stuff dreams are made of forum” so i guess it habit. oops

Experience. Keep trying! If you accidentally move your real body, you were too early.

if i move will it ruin the trance?

A bit maybe, but not so much that you won’t be able to try again soon.

i was wondering if trying to go astral late at night is bad. i have only done it when im extremely tired and i got vibrations twice. should i try it during the day and not at 2 am

Uhm, first of all as I told you, you aren’t really stepping into the astral when you do this (it is a kind of LD), second of all WILDing late at night can have it’s advantages since when you are tired you will fall asleep faster (but perhaps lose consciousness fast). It’s a matter of trying what fits you best. And those vibrations aren’t bad either you just have to wait them out, it means you are in a trance and your body is close to falling asleep.

Thanks for the help.
