As some background, for the last few weeks I’ve been seeing the same little boy every night in my lucid dreams. He’s about 10 years old, blonde hair, with a light blue T-shirt that has a darker blue collar. His eyes are blue and he wears khaki pants/shorts. oftentimes he has a bicycle.
Oftentimes during my dreams, one of my reality checks is to ask someone around if I am dreaming.
Last night, I was in a neighborhood, and the only person around was the little boy. I realized I couldn’t accurately dial my cell phone, and at that point I asked the little boy if I was dreaming.
Now usually, this results in an ambiguous answer–one that is obviously not the way someone in real life would reply (don’t worry about it/what do you think?/I don’t know, it could be, etc). The little boy responded yes, it was, that he was my subconscious dream guide, and to stop trying to control the dream because it wasn’t going to work. We talked for a bit (I don’t remember about what) and I believe the dream changed after that because I don’t remember anything else that isn’t completely unrelated.
Has anyone else had this experience?
I really want to know why my subconscious assigned a 10 year old boy–I’m 20 and female, lol.

as for why i can not think of anything better to say than to ask the little boy. he sounds like he has something he wants to say or help you with. or at least to show you the way to something. talk to him learn from him that is what i suggest for now
We do have a defined acronym for dream guides… DG. Some people seek them out. I myself prefer to look for my SC (subconscious). I’m also female, and when I first summoned him, he appeared as a nicely dressed guy in his early 20s, I’d say. He’s tried to appear a few times as an old guy, but the last time he tried that, I yelled at him for that, and he changed appearances into a teen with long hair (much better appearance, I’d say).
But yes, some around here do search for DG/SC/SG (spirit guides).
People report all different races, genders, species, etc. as their DGs; Their physical appearance has little relevance to your own. What form they choose may have some indication of the lesson they plan to teach you, though.
My DG taught me a lot about fear; unsurprisingly he normally chose a form that seemed intimidating or frightening.
