I’m not sure if this is the correct place on this website to share this, but here goes.
For years I had/have desired to experience lucid dreaming. I’ve had 2.5 lucid dreams in my life. I say .5 because the very first one I had gave me very limited control. The good thing was that I was aware I was dreaming, but I could not influence anything and it was a very quick experience. The next one was not vivid but sort of monochromatic, however I was aware I was dreaming and I consiously jumped straight up into the air and did not stop until I was in the middle of the univers. Kind of wierd I know, but it was a cool feeling. I don’t know what I did to make my third and most vivid and lucid dream happen but it was an amazing experience. In it I was in a town that looked like it was very old and made up of wooden buildings. It was winter with snow covering everything and mountains in the background. It was night but the moonlight was bright and I could see well. I have since seen pictures of old villages in places like Scandanavia that look a lot like the place in my dream. For some reason there was a sort of Japanese garden in the middle of the town fenced on, I believe, three sides with a gazeebo in the middle surrounded by a koi pond. Althougn it was winter I was not cold at all and I stepped into the pond and submerged myself. I was aware it was a dream and I got the idea to test the realism by using my hand to scare away the fish that were swiming in front of me. When I did this I was amazed to see thay behaved like real fish and scattered quickly in many directions! I thought this was so cool and I remember telling myself “ok here’s the big test”, Flight. I stepped onto the landing on the side of the gazeebo, put my hands out besides me like wings, bent at the knees then launched myself upward. It worked and I was excited! I flew around and noted the moonlit mountains large in the background and the town below. A fancy bare wood victorian house on a hill that was lit up inside caught my attention and I flew one orbit around it from above. I think I felt it looked like a doll house and it seemed empty but warm inside still. At that moment I woke up. I have since tried to lucid dream that way again, but with no luck. The dream was so vivid and detailed that it remains very clearly in my mind.
Very cool, Lozo and welcome to LD4all
Btw, that .5 could actually count as a whole one. even if you don’t have full control, it’s just considered low lucidity. But in any case, congratulations on your awesome LD, and here’s to many, many more
Just ask if youh have any questions on how to keep having LD’s
