Better dream recall

I only have two,

A. Know you’ll do it (ever since I knew I would I seem to automatically wake up in my dreams, it’s fairly cool).

B. Thing about you’re dream’s as you go though you’re early morning tasks. Usually something will trigger a memory.

I usually think back on what I did the other day, it usually triggers a memory for me.

Yeah, I’ve read the same thing, and I know it to be true through experience.
But I’ll manage. Meditation helps :happy:

PFFFT. shoot, im as open as a book when it comes to it :tongue: my recall was going pretty well. i noticed that it had dipped the last few days. then i come across this whole masturbation revelation… no wonder ive been struggling! well, no more guitar solos for me either! :wiske:

Maybe try vit b6? I heard it increases vividness but maybe it would indirectly work to better your recall since your dreams would be more vivid. Maybe? :}

I’ve noticed that half the people posting are talking about masturbation… I’ve also noticed that almost all of the people who say they masturbate sare 15 year old Guys. Not that i have a problem with teenage boys seeing as i am one. Now so as not to break the tradition here’s my POV on this subject.

I did notice that one night i had really great recall and a LD and on that same night i decided not to :wink: which gives proof to this theory :cry: .

And for the dream recall, GET A DJ. After stopping using my dj, my dream recall FREEFALLED back to near zero.GET A DJ.

Well, I know some guys wo aren´t so open about it either. :tongue: And some lasses that are. I differs with the individual.

I feel awkward reopening this topic after three years have passed.

But I want to get my two cents in…

Since every bit of information on this forum regarding the masturbation/recall myth is pretty much speculation or vague memory (with little or no formal research to back it up), I just think of it this way: everyone’s different.
Masturbation might strongly affect the recall/quality of one individual’s dreams, while having little or no effect on the dreams of another.

I’ve meant to do an experiment on this for a loooong time, but recording the information can be a little tedious…so I just leave it up to chance. :tongue:

Anyway, since self-belief is such a strong force, doesn’t it make sense that masturbation might not actually have a huge effect if we don’t believe it will?
