Did anyone ever reached the state of Samadhi or Turiya?

I am not sure I am on the same wave length here as I have never heard the terms and that article was a little mind boggling. Oh and I dont do chanting or anything but I do some light meditation.
However …I did have this strange thing last week where I seemed to have 4 concious’s
One was the thoughts and feelings of my physical body and was only aware of itelf. Then I seemed to have another me hovering a few feet above myself who I could feel and think for just as clearly who was aware of and knew the thoughts of the physical one. Then I had another concious aware it was a swirling energy streak who knew about itself and the thoughts of the other two. Then most bizzarely I had a 4 th that just seemed to be a thought and it was aware of all of them and all their thoughts independantly but at the same time.
Do you think this was a state similar to Turiya. It has had me intrigued?
Worth mentioning …I am also having trouble with NOT projecting out of my body wether awake or asleep. I have done nothing to induce this either, and when I have gone out…I dont have a body…I am invisible. Something strange is going on with me…that is for sure. I have written about the projection problem in Trippers LD Diary (pg 2) if you want to have a read.
Quite a nice LD diary you have there, it seems you experienced some interesting stuff. You might want to look at Robert Bruce’s site: astralpulse.com he knows alot about OBE’s. About the turiya thing…well i don’t chant either, i was trying to emphasise that the hindu/yoga’s have a concept of consciousness that includes multiple levels of consciousness and LD is just one of them on the way to ‘absolute consciousness’. I’m trying to map those levels and philosophise a bit about them hehe, Schemes! schemes! muahaha cram it into shemes:

I don’t think there are much people in the West who have reached turiya. Some could have seen a tiny glimpse of it through mystical experiences of total wholeness, unity and the dissolving of the Ego.
I think you’ll have better luck if you ask this question in India or Tibet 
These people often spend their whole life in search for turiya or rigpa (Tibetan equivalent of turiya), which is in fact only the first state of Enlightenment.
