I am in a huge mall and the stairs are glass and dont have rails and i have to go to the top. there are like 3 floors. It scares me so much. I crawl up the stairs slowly in the dream. I don’t remember ever going down though…
It is honestly one of the most terrifying things EVER.
I also have this variation. I am walking and about five feet over is the edge and it drops down to the floor below. it is like the edge is a magnet and i keep falling towards it and almost fall off.
Stairs a COMMON dream symbol for a lot of people. Stairs that are shiny and going UPHILL could be a possible prestigious step up in life for you. I would not be afraid of the dream. I have a lot of dreams with stairs ALL THE TIME! If you havent taken the path in waking life than you might continue to have the dream. And of course, the being pulled down could be falling back into your regular routine, or your comfort zone, because you are afraid to step up and make a change in your life.
