Books on OOBEs and such

Are there any really good books about OOBE, AP, LDs, or any other Budhist/tibetan meditation/philosophies you guys can recommend?

clears his throat

Out of Body Experiences: How to Have Them and What to Expect
by Robert Peterson

  • an excellent (and i don’t throw that word around) book on OBEs. i like the approach that he takes in his writing, he doesn’t present the material like “this is the way it is” he says “this is what i found to be true, but don’t take my word for it, see for yourself”

Multi-Orgasmic Man: Sexual Secrets Every Man Should Know
by Mantak Chia

  • it’s not buddhist or tibeten, this technique comes from a taoist tradition. the book basically teaches you how to have an orgasm w/o ejaculating (it works, i’m living proof). it sounds crazy i know, but all i can say is it’s REALLY intense, and if you do it right it’s A LOT better than ejaculating… A LOT. i’ve had some transcendental experiences during my practice so i consider it to be a valid form of meditation (although maybe not what you’d usually think of meditation as), but don’t take my word for it, see for yourself :alien:

Zen Mind, Beginner’s Mind: Informal Talks on Zen Meditation and Practice
by Shunryu Suzuki

  • this is a good book on some buddhist philosophy. highly recommend it.

well… i think i’ll stop there, i could post all the books i have in my mini-library i’ve collected, but i think those should keep you busy for a while, if you’d like more suggestions, just ask
