Brain nutrients for better recall and vividness

I am working steadily on increasing my dream recall. I have taken brilliant dreams and the lucid dreamer a hand full of times to good effect however, I was wondering if anyone here has tried any of the brain health supplements on the market.
I mean supplements intended to improve memory, cognitive function and general intelligence? If so did you take it consistently and for how long. Did you find any benefit to vividness and recall of dreams?

I do not have a direct answer to your main question, so I apologize. However, I do have answers to supply regarding some sub elements of your words.

I have not taken any brain supplements, with the intention, of enhancing dream-ness. That means that I do believe that nutrients can positively affect our minds, yet I do not actively purchase and attempt to place these nutrients within my body to gain an effect.

If you are working on increasing your dream recall, then that is enough. The energy and thought that you are using towards this goal is enough. Expecting, and seeking, immediate or enchanting results is not necessary. Patience is the key to all doors.

Thanks for your reply.

I am not trying to skip anything. My dream recall is actually pretty good for someone who has never really toned it. I am practicing tried and true techniques either way.

I am however also a whole foods nutritional counselor and I was curious if anyone here has had personal experience with products for memory aid with dreams.

I’ve had a lot of success with a lot of these, especially Calea Zacatechichi. (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Calea_zacatechichi)It’s a little hard to find but it’s actually amazing how much more vivid it makes your dreams.

But the easier to find 5-HTP is also really great and easy to find (anywhere that has a bunch of supplements)

Thanks for the reply.

I am highly familiar with 5-HTP. I am more curious about those that have a direct effect on blood flow and memory. like

Acetyl-L-Carnitine
Vinpocetine
Citicholine
Choline
acetylcarnitine

The list goes on. Also has anyone had Ginko keep them awake.

Vitamin B6

I just ordered some Piracetam and Choline. I will post my results as I get them.

nice thanks Love!

I didn’t know 5-HTP helped people get lucid!

“Some claim it has helped make them lucid dream half the nights it was taken”.

That’s a pretty good statistic if you ask me.

Sorry to go so long without posting. Real life of course.

Choline is amazing for dream vividness. I’m not a great lucid dreamer but I believe it did help me become lucid once.

I can’t recommend the Choline enough though. Dreams are easier to remember and are more vivid without a doubt. I would bet everyone would benefit.

Just remember to take b vitamins with Choline. It is necessary for absorption and utilization.
