bringing things to dreamland

changed all caps title to lower case :moogle:

Topic: Bringing things, such as people, objects, environemnts, and emotions into your dreamworld.

I have heard of many trying to bring things BACK. Unfortunatley bringing a flower/tv back is rather difficult. Maybe impossible. But bringing back a talent/passion for something slightly more probable. However this topic is associated with bringing things to, rather than from.

It is on the border or meditation/lucid living and photographic memory. I believe living in the moment with a surrendered control is the pinnalce of what Lucid Dreaming could offer.

Imagine, walking around your house noticing every slight nuance of a detail and then dreaming about your hosue that night, with such a real indistinquishable difference. This could have endless applications. Living in the moment ont he beach, for example. Where the same principle is applied. Taking in each detail through a slighlty more receptive/medidation state.

I believe tapping into your subcon/memory could be vital to both dimensions of living, both awake and dreaming. Dreamland manifestations of such things as people and places should become significantly easier with this technique.

Utilize all of your senses when living in the “now”. How does a window pane feel? How does the air smell? Notice lighting especially. What ambient noises do you notice? How do you feel? A question one rarely asks themselves beyond the surface layer of “I’m happy/sad”

All these details can be utilized. Creating a dreamland is a gift from the almighty God. We have been given an insight. Such insight that explaining it to the mass public is similar to explaining water to someone who has never experienced H20. Far more difficult than imaginable.

Use your imagination, the greatest gift we had as children. Faith, can help tremensley as well.

I want this thread to dive into the possibilities of bringing things both tangible and un- alike into your subconcious world. People, I feel we have only scratched the surface. I pray day in and day out for enlightment. Hear my words, we are on the cusp of a great discovery. Just open your eyes…

the great discovery is uncovered, although we have not yet barely scratched the surface.

how could we ever emphasize enough the magnitude of what is going on here and be done with rationalizing and having it on the trivial side.

do you suppose you can bring your goals into a dream,
set them up
fine tune everything so you can arrange it to happen in this world ?

i rode a super odd roller coaster yesterday, (i mean today ! ? ) and it had a super cool first drop, and then became odd and eccentrical!

Goals, of course. That is exactly the un-tanagble concepts I was alluding to. Fears, as well. As Leberge said, facing a fear with such a degree of control may be both exhilirating and “freeing” at the same time.

As far as goals, I would say it depends upon the goal. Are we talking worldy riches, or stable family? Are you thinking more “I wanna fly while awake,” or “I want to become a more patient person?” See where I’m headed… all depends, indefinetly.

I hope to accomplish a variety of goals. As well as merge the stability of this waking enviornment with the control and fantasy of Wond3rland (dreamworld).

all of the above,

the idea that someone should suffer humility is imposed upon the population through old paradigms of control, we are here to take control of our sovereignty and recognize that our powers of dreaming and deliberate intention are here, now

I get angry when I have money or something cool in a dream, and then wake up to not have it.
I’m not exactly sure what you’re asking, but are you talking about getting knowledge from dreams?

Read eckhart tolle’s book: The power of Now

Yes… LD has many uses… too many to name in fact, but a few to note are:

Lesson Review
Free Amusment
Problem Solving
Creativity
Finding your inner self
Relaxation
Emotional Healing
Planning for the future
Seeing thing that you would never see in real life
And more!

I think LDs are great for the things Qwan mentioned, but from other posts I’ve read in this thread it seems like LDing could turn into a virtual reality for some. I think that using LDs for things like finding your inner self and amusement are perfectly awesome, but when you start talking about having no distinguishing features between dreams and reality, that’s dangerous. LDs can be fun, inspiring, enlightening, and whatever else you want them to be, but one should be careful when getting too involved with them.

:spinning::REAL LIFE:: )

My friend called me with to eagerly share his lucidity in a dream he had. He said he laid down on a couch with a book and experienced what I would classify as a WILD. Apparently he took the book with him into the dream he entered, showing up at a wedding. He went on later to interact with DCs, I believe aware of his state, asking them about abilities in Dream land. Superjump, he says. Amazingly realistic. He loved te experience. And it encourages me, yup…

I can certainly see bringing things into the dream world as an easy task, but bringing them back is a different matter. I highly doubt one can bring a solid object back from a dream, but talents or a mental creation certainly. In a dream I had (I won’t go into details) I was written down into history and a symphony was made in my name. The symphony was nothing I have ever heard in real life, yet it was so incredible it stuck with me after I woke up. If my brain can create something like this while dreaming, why couldn’t I write it down after I wake up? My brain was able to create a symphony with multiple instruments all playing in harmony together perfectly in all but a few hours. If we could harness this extra creativity we get in dreams we could create some incredible things in real life, whether it be music, papers, or who knows what else.

Look, I’m far from being a scholar in this kind of thing, but I’ve read many times that your subconscious actually captures all little details all the time, and that your concious mind “filters” them for the most important things.

I’m not saying that’s true, but - as I’ve said - I read about this over and over again. If that’s the case, you don’t really have to pay attention to details while walking the house - a quick run would do, if you’d be sure to look in every direction.

Well, just though I’d say that. I have to make a point that walking around the house, paying attention to details with the purpose of dreaming on them afterwards would probably make a difference. For our subconscious, purpose is everything.

Entersting. I love your enthuseasem. I would like to face my fear of depression, and maybie concure it through LDs if at all possible. I would imagine my depression would menafest itself in my dreams as a dark damp silent room, or just the worst hell I could imagine. I would just hope I would have the strength to fight this demon of mine.

I have read this as well, and would make sense in my opinion. It seems to prove true as many people state how they see little details in their dreams about certain objects that they didn’t knew existed, then to find out that it is really there when they wake up. (At least I noticed it on other forums allot of the time, I haven’t been on these ones long so I can’t really see if that is true for people here or not. Though I would assume so. )

Dudes right, I concurr. Ha. I use that method to induce lucidity because my house is what I have established as base in my dream world. The place I want to be ‘alone’ more than anywhere. Not to mention the place I do all my living in. The overall point of the thread he captured right in the opening. Bringing things to dreamland is meant to be an overall awareness increase throughout your day-to-day travelings.
