can anyone else map out the "world" in their dream

i’ve had lucid dreams since i was little. my dreams since i can remember, have always been strange and if there is a word that means strange times a thousand its more like that…

but lets say i’m dreaming and i’m at this forest thats reoccurring, i’ll know if i walk in one direction i’ll get to this town, or down this path is this thing, without ever having to go there. then the opposite, if i’m in the town i’ll know the forest is there.

so basically i can construct a literal map of everywhere i’ve been in my dreams and i’m curious if anyone else has ever thought about doing this, can do it, has done it.

there are certain places though that go beyond my normal dream patterns of locations, and those places are pretty fing weird. one time i had a dream i somehow travelled to venus and i saw colors that don’t exist, felt things that would be impossible to feel out of my dream state. i’m actually trying to find a scientist to study me or something because even if these dreams are exciting, or fun - the bad ones are just as intense. those usually feel like i never even went to sleep and i just closed my eyes and watched a movie for 7 hours.

but anyyyyway. i’d like to meet some friends on this board to talk to, i don’t get a chance to go online that much. my email is email removed if anyone would like some private debate/discussion.

mapping my environment is difficult for me, I have traveled great distances in my dreams and although i have seen some areas that are the same, or link with each other, it is rather rare. It only seems to happen if I am stuck on a thought or feeling inside my head that I want to sort out.

A long time ago…when i had time… I used to draw maps, but my recall was excessive and I spent too much time drawing (im not the best drawer) and writing then doing much else. Still an interesting experiment.

How closly do your dreams link with each other? how expansive is your internal enviroment and do you find that a lot of places relate to your self or your thoughts feelings etc.

I am a psychologist and business man at heart, I would like to talk to you more and find out more about how closly your dreams interconnect and how extensive your recall of them is.
